There really isn't a limit but you may have limited storage for your empty bags. 1 or 2 bags per person. The ship has self serve laundry but try not to wait until last day as most do. Recommend taking Tru Earth Laudry Strips and some drier sheets. They pack well and save significant $. Last Princess ship we were on the machines used tokens and were free. Others may be tied to sign and sail and be roughly $2 per load.

Depends on the cruise. For Alaska we each checked a large suitcase and brought a small roller carry-on and a backpack. We ended up buying and checking a second small roller for souvenirs on the flight home. Mind you, we heeded the advice to bring layers and rain gear for that destination and dressed up for formal night. We're about to do a Mexican Riviera cruise and will each check our large suitcases and carry our backpacks again but will only bring one small carry-on for our winter jackets and stuff like medications that we don't want to check but won't need during the flight.

For 7 - 15 day cruises we bring 2 full size suitcases…one garment bag…2 carryon bags and one empty full size suitcase for souvenirs we can fit smaller bags into the larger suitcases and shove the suitcases under the bed…outside of the under bed the storage for empty luggage is pretty non existent …I found the closets…shelves and drawers adequate for our items … as mentioned …there are laundries on most of the floors…better to get either the laundry sheets. Or get Walmart or Target travel laundry supplies …by the way…we do not get the expensive cabins…so the more expensive cabins have a little more space…but most of the cabins go not have a lot of space for suitcases …so if you bring too many you might have to work around them while moving around your cabin
