The ship was nice. Our cabins were clean and had comfy beds. The food was hit and miss but 100x better in the dining rooms than the buffet. Staff were friendly and catered to what you needed. Not too many activities or shows however and that was a letdown

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Lots of food had to be sent back do to being over or under cooked drastically. There was at least one or two dishes at every meal but 1 that there was an issue with. When they made it good it was amazing though.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Damn near non existant. Was reallly disappointed.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
They need more than one major show a night. I made friends withh one of the musicians on board and enjoyed their music. The comedian for the 1 night he performed was funny.

Ship tip

Know that if you want lots of entertainment and shows, this line is not for you. If you just want laid back and relax this is the cruise line for you.

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Gotta walk through the gauntlet of locals selling things and tours before you get out of the marina and into town. Just keep walking.

Sorry to say but cruising is not for you. You found fault with just about everything. Cruising is the best vacation ever!

I'm really surprised at the food review. We were on the Royal Princess for 14 nights TA cruise, the food was consistently very good in the buffet and excellent in the MDR. There were shows every night, occasionally in the afternoon, music everywhere. CD staff was very energetic and engaging. Lots to do during the day. As for the games in the library, I think people take them to their staterooms for the duration of the cruise.

On her now, lots to do if you want to. Only disappointment is the library, tiny, like an afterthought and very few books or games.

Was there not bingo, trivia, mini golf, ice carving, vegetable carving, cocktail classes, at all?...we were continuously entertained thru the day..
