Review summary

Overall it was a great trip for us. We are so disappointed with Princess Cruise. We expected Princess is as good as Royal Caribbean, but it should be rate as Carnival.

The buffet and the main dining rooms food and drinks were aweful. We ended up are at the specialty restaurant instead.

The fitness center is great. Attended couple dance lessons and movies and. The show room is too small and the timing didn't work out for us.

The comedian is great. Don't see other shows due to limited seating.

Convenient. Yes we did Sierra Madre tour. It is a bit boring. They should cut out the brick making and tile making. We ran out of time to see the old town. This tour needs to be improved though the driver Benjamin is great.

Sorry you were not happy. We had a fabulous cruise on the Royal Princess. Food was excellent at all venues. Service was amazing!

Carnival?!?! Carnival is a nice cruise line in itself. Lol!! Is that suppose to be an insult?? Hahahahaha!! Different strokes for different folks!

We were on the Royal last summer. The food was amazing! I’m not sure what else you wanted. In the dining room, the waiters got used to our very picky granddaughter and brought her exactly what she wanted. The buffet was huge and food was fresh and tasty. Yes, specially dining was excellent. The Italian place is worth the extra.

Hmm. I noticed that you gave the food a 1-star, while three others gave it 5-star. So was the food 'bad' or just not to your liking or tastes? There truly is a difference. You said the shows were too crowded, then said the timing did work for you? Maybe Royal Caribbean IS better for you, as you need to get reservations there, but you don't have to go early to get a seat. Again, you mentioned limited seating for other entertainment and shows. In Princess Live? Around the other bars that have live entertainment? In the Piazza? All you have to do is get to where you are going a little early. It is obvious that you didn't like the ship or line, but to say RCL is 'Better"? What does that really mean? More like an amusement park? Less crowded? (Not from what I hear). Just more to your liking? In all fairness, a review should be a realistic view for others to judge. To say, "Choose other cruise line," would be like me saying, "That is the worst sushi restaurant ever!" Did I mention, I don't like sushi?

We very much enjoyed our cruise on the Royal Princess. Beautiful ship, great food and service and wonderful entertainment. Sorry you did not enjoy your cruise.

Maybe you should go back to Royal Caribbean. We have been on the Royal 3 times and never experienced anything like what you described. We have been on Royal Caribbean twice 6 years apart and it sucked.
