Skip the steakhouse....outback is as good....I was very disappointed. We loved the Irish place on deck 8 we stayed on same deck...very convenient...and didn't have to fight to get table

this ship is too old

Ship has been great in the past but needs to go to dry dock for maintenance.

Great value for families.

Like the outdoor bbq dining area

Would not recommend this ship for future cruises due to age of ship and cruise itinerary, and staff service, as well as food service.

Bring a camera. I wore a seaband and that helped with nausea. Do the unlimited beverage package if you like to have a cocktail or two. Check out the various restaurants!

We really enjoyed the Summer Palace as a place to eat, and loved hanging out in The Great Outdoors.

The most enjoyable spot on the whole ship was the "The Great Outdoors" on Deck 12 (Aft); we ate breakfast there every morning!

We enjoyed the Summer Palace and the Indigo dining rooms.....

Dont add salt to food. Pastries in the morning very hard and dry. When the waitress comes around with a plate of bismarks grab one!

My husband is vegan and we ask specifically for vegan choices. ONLY vegetarian choices were offered. PLUS, we BOTH got the noro virus and the ship was more concerned about keeping the sicknesses on the ship quiet than getting us well!

I would suggest they change cruise lines

Read carefully when take excursions as some are pretty long.

Japanese specialty restaurant was the best.

I think this trip may have been better if taken the first week in September when all the US kids are back in school, however we had numerous foreign passengers on board with children too.

There is not much entertainment on the ship during the day time. So if you have small kids, carry some video games etc. to keep them busy during the days on ship. Restaurants usually get crowded during the peak hours, so plan your meals before or after to avoid long queues.

Food Tip: the braised short ribs in the Garden Cafe are delicious and fall right off the bone!

Summer Garden and Indigo basically are both very nice, but serves the same food

There is a $13.50 charge per person per day as a gratuity irregardless of where you eat or whether you eat at all. It adds up and it may not be clear on your paperwork.
