Review summary

i have cruised plenty but this was a first on Norwegian...we loved a lot about it...but also found a few things lacking...overall it was great! One big thing that was different and we didn't see anywhere on their site beforehand was about the cash accounts...we always do cash accounts and if we need a few dollars to go into port we get some off the sign and sail...also use cash off it for the casino...well on Norwegian you cannot do either...so needless to say...we were upset...and Norwegian lost out! We didn't gamble....we came home with the money we probably would have lost! They require a credit card...well heck no!

Also...found the restaurant service to be abit lacking....carnival has them beat on that....and for sure carnival steakhouse it way better....but that is not enough to keep me from booking another! Just won't eat at the steakhouse...and won't back with cash!

When they say obstruction...they ain't kidding....could not see a thing....cabin was okay...nothing special....as with all ship cabins...need more outlets...I brought a extension with plugs...but they really need to address the issue

Ship tip

Skip the steakhouse....outback is as good....I was very disappointed. We loved the Irish place on deck 8 we stayed on same deck...very convenient...and didn't have to fight to get table

I always use cash in the casino.

everything on NCL is cashless, it's all put on a credit card that you assign tonight use during check in. the only times you would need cash is at a port of call.

Yes, you can bring cash. On other lines, you can use the sign & sail card as a bank account. With NCL you can only put cash in the account to use on board, but not as the casino. Restaurants, gifts, bottles of alcohol, and payment for the restaurants come out of the on board account. Hope that helps you, Neller.

Are you able to explain to me what you mean about the cash accounts? Should I take cash or they don't except cash? I just booked my first so I'm a little nervous lol
