Review summary

Terrific cruise.  We were not disappointed about anything.  I highly recommend it.  Beautiful sights.  We went the last week of June and the weather was great;  50's to 70's all week. The Deluxe Yukon tour in Skagway, Rain Forest in Ketchican, and Whales and Mendenhall glacier in Juneau were all excellent excursions.  Twilight tour in Victoria, save your money, there's nothing on it to see.  Pick something else like the gardens maybe.

One caution: you will have a $13.50 service charge per person per day as a gratuity no matter where you eat or even if you eat that is not obvious in your initial paperwork.  It adds up fast.

Small but better than feared. Plenty of drawers and closet space for clothing. Did not have to live out of our suit cases. Large window was nice. Still had a great view. We did not regret not getting a balcony on this one since the weather was cool.

Ship tip

There is a $13.50 charge per person per day as a gratuity irregardless of where you eat or whether you eat at all. It adds up and it may not be clear on your paperwork.

Mendenhall glacier and whale watching tour was great. We did see whales.

Deluxe Yukon trip was great. We saw everything they see on the train and much, much more from a comfortable tour bus. Had a good lunch too.

WOW! bring a video camera. Note: You'll see a calve before you hear the cracking. Be ready. If you wait until you hear the crack to look, you'll be lucky to catch the splash.

The Rainforest excursion we went on through BJ's provided waterproof gear but you need water proof hiking boots for the 1-mile hike. Comfortable boots: It's a lot of steps up and down.
