FOOD TIP: Amazingly, the best food on the ship are the Indian dishes presented in the main buffet, the Garden Cafe. The curried chicken is exceptional.

The back of the ship (outside) on the 12th floor was great. Lots of sun and excellent food.

All the 2 bedroom suites are under the gym...Never, never stay in the 2 bedroom suits on the Norwegian Pearl !!!!

Eat at Indigo for dinner whenever possible. It is the best sit-down meal on the ship if you don't count the premium restaurants that cost extra. Room service for breakfast was a great way to start the day! The chocolate croissants were fantastic. :)

Unpack and put your suitcases under your bed. Doubles the room you can walk around. Call the cruise line if this is your first, and ask them what some of the most frequently asked questions are! Very helpful.

every day we enjoyed an different soup for lunch and all were delicious. take advantage of the spa if you like peace and quiet and soaking in hot water!

Didn't care for the food that much, it was to salty, wasn't very hot

The Lotus Garden had the best food. It was the only restaurant that we ate at that we actually got a hot meal. The food was tasty. The staff there very nice, and recognized some our party from previous dining. The best show was Cirque, get there early because there was standing room only.

Spinnaker Lounge was a great place for viewing.

O'SHEEHAN'S TIP: If you're looking for a snack at the Blue Lagoon, forget it. It's been swallowed up by O'Sheehan's. Good omelets, bad burgers. Good artichoke dip, bad chicken wings. Good beer, good beer.

Do your own excursions.....research other lines well before booking...library staff unhelpful, 'this is my first day, I can't help!' Next time the gent was sitting with his lady friend on a couch not interested in the users of the library....hence best take your own reading material.

Loved the Indian dishes, fresh fruit and french toast. The steak at Cagney's Steakhouse was cooked perfectly. I recommend a mid-ship room to provide easier access to amenities and restaurants. Walk the promenade in the morning while it's quiet and peaceful. That's also when I saw the most wildlife.

Lotus Garden a restaurant on the ship had amazingly good Chinese food, the pot stickers were delicious. Cagney's had the best filet I had ever eaten. Two pools plenty of room for everyone.

Tables indoors filled up fast. Head outdoors to find empty tables if it's not too cold.

WISH THEY SERVE MORE FOOD AFTER 12 AM

Eat breakfast in the Great Outdoors cafe at the very back of Deck 12. It has a lot of the same food as the buffet, the lines are shorter, and it is usually beautiful outside!

Expect a bit of a long wait for elevators. Stairs are often a faster choice.

Deck 7 - great for walking a mile in the morning as you circumvent the whole ship with no interruption without dealing with too much wind resistence. Indigo restaurant, as they all are, is superb.

It is a beautiful ship...entertainment is so wonderful. Room is cleaned twice a day. We have not experienced a waiting line for meals. Best for all, the crew is very friendly including the Captain of the ship. The only thing, that I was not happy was the Casino whose crew were not that very accomodating.

Buffet was great but enjoyed the Summer Palace the best. Not one for standing in lines to touch utensils that have been handles by others.
