my family and I thoroughly enjoyed this 7 night cruise to alaska on the norwegian pearl.  After our initial   surprise at finding out that the 4th person had to sleep on a small trundle bed between the 2 lower beds we got down to relaxing and really had a wonderful time. we simply lowered the trundle and put it at the end of one of the regular beds.  my husband and I took advantage of the spa package where (for $149) you had complete use of the spa facilities for the entire week, which included the pool, hot tubs, steam, sauna, and heated relaxation beds, as well as the cushioned chaise lounges with  a spectacular forward facing view of  where the ship was going. no kids allowed either.  such a well kept secret! we also had the ultimate dining package included in our cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed dining at a different place every night whenever we wanted to. we also loved the open air "great outdoors" at the back of the ship many times to eat, read and play games yet be outside as we travelled from place to place. the food at all of the restaurants as well as the main dining rooms was excellent and always served piping hot.  we highly recommend this cruise to all!

we have cruised with many different cruise lines with and without our kids and have always had hideaway bunks over the main beds but were very disappointed to see a trundle that was supposed to go between the 2 beds...very difficult to get out of bed at night...we had to get creative and rearrange the room.
Seattle, Washington
pike place market was really fun as well as the underground tour of "old seattle"
Juneau, Alaska
the hike to mendenhall glacier and the nearby falls is beautiful and you can walk out in the shallow water if you don't mind freezing water to see the falls even closer
Skagway, Alaska
the train tour was well worth the $- awesome country! also check out the dog mushing - you get to play with the puppies too!
Cruise Glacier Bay
spectacular even tho' it was raining, just wish we could have seen the glaciers calving
Ketchikan, Alaska
kayaking was a lot of fun...we learned a lot about the area and the wildlife and saw tons of eagles
Victoria, British Columbia
only there for a short time so just enjoyed the waterfront and took a horse drawn carriage ride and walked to Beacon Hill park, a beautiful park near the Empress Hotel
