Wow. Makes me think that once this ship leaves Miami and the Caribbean for Alaska and the Frozen Northwest things go completely to hell. That's a shame, really, because my experience aboard Pearl as a solo cruiser was wonderful. We all know salty food sells drinks, yet I didn't particularly notice excessive salt in anything I ate. Not everything was delicious (those ground pork patties were garbage) but oversalted--no. No one seemed to have a difficult time getting on or off the ship in the Bahamas.

I was on the same cruise and can verify that no information was provided as to the deck location of the port debarkation gangways. I have all the Freestyle Dailies and it wasn't listed in them. No in-cabin announcements were made either. Lots of people were confused and going to the wrong decks. Other than that I thought the cruise was great.

So, in other words, for the entire 8 days you never got a copy of the "Freestyle Daily" delivered to your cabin? The FD explains the things you are ranting about such as daily happenings onboard and debarkation gangways in port. There is no "Floor" (deck) for port excursions only. You leave the ship in port where everyone else does.
