Review summary
We spent our time on board stumbling over kids which made up about 30% of the passengers. Paid up for an outside balcony stateroom and every time we tried to enjoy it, we were chased inside do to the noisy family next door. The staff was excellent as is the ship. Food was about average with the buffet being about the same as your local Golden Coral. Thank god for the premium drink package. Our highlight was the helicopter excursion and exploration to a glacier, but rather than take a cruise, we could have flown to Juneau and accomplished that for a lot less money while avoiding the circus. What next, people on board with their pets?

Ship tip
I think this trip may have been better if taken the first week in September when all the US kids are back in school, however we had numerous foreign passengers on board with children too.

Seattle is a great spot. I agree the underground city is a must. I know that quite a number of years ago the located a new area and expanding the tour a bit.
The sailing date you indicated would be an ideal time to cruise with kids. Your TA should have advised you. Kids are just out of school. almost as bad as spring break in Fla.
