The cruise was wonderful. The ship was very nice, clean and staff was excellent. Great customer service. What I didn't like was that there were various entertainment options and specialty restaurants with additional cost. I feel that all entertainment should be included in the cruise per person price. Overall the experience was nice but does not compare to my experience with Royal Caribbean however that's my personal preference.

This cruise was phenomenal.  We had soooooooo much fun on and off the ship. The crew were the most personable, accommodating and fun people you ever want to meet.  The people on board were friendly and everyone we talked to - those die-hard-been-cruising-every-year-for-the-last-20-years - ALL agreed that FREE SYLING IS THE WAY TO GO!

My only disappointment was with the pictures!  We spent over 2 hours putting our photo book together.  We were told it would be ready at 9pm Saturday night.  At 9 pm, we were told it would be ready at 11pm.  At 11pm, we were told it would be ready at 7am.  At 7am, we were told it would be ready at 7:30am.  We had to disembark at 7:45am.  Needless to say, we NEVER got our pictures (they refunded the money...but that was it.  They barely apologized.  People were down there all wanting pictures; it was chaotic and really put a damper on our experience not having any of the fabulous photos!  Norwegian MUST put a better process in place.  This was catastrophic as far as I am concerned.

The experience was amazing. I am at a very high loyalty level on other lines, and tried NCL for a quick getaway, and almost immediately noticed that the other cruise lines had better up their game because NCL has definitely got the right game plan. Everything was top notch, the staff, the activities, the dining, and such a high energy level! I already have reserved another NCL cruise, and highly recommend the line.

Worst cruise ever, and I have been on 18 cruises. Terrible dining service, food. The freestyle dining really never worked very well, always having to wait 30-60 minutes to get a table. The lunch buffet food was never temperature correct, consistently cold food. In addition at the Asian noodle restaurant I was served a dish that was taken to another table, returned and put back on the food line. I will say that the Irish pub was pretty good. They nickel and dime you to death with their up charges on prepaid packages. The entertainment was ok.

i will stick with Celebrity, Princess, and Royal Caribbean.

The cruise was nice, but not the best I've been on.

I thought the ship was too big. Got lost so often, it was ridiculous. things were hidden so well that it took me until the last couple of days to find things that I wasn't aware of. Each time I had an issue, I had to wait on line about a half hour or so to speak to guest services. On the very first day, my husband lost a piece of his camera, it fell into the air hockey game (don't ask). After asking every day if it was found, about the fifth day, we got angry enough that it was surprisingly found.

The specialty restaurants were good, but the main dining room wasn't great. I thought everything was too salty or too much curry. The music was so loud, you couldn't have a conversation.

The entertainment in the main theater wasn't too my taste either.

The comedians were good as was the illusionist show.

The ship was beautiful the drink package was great the only problem was no lobster at all unless you paid an upcharge f irst cruise line that didn't give it as a meal 

We had done many Cruises no the past, we never experience nothing like this once. Service on all the restaurants and bars was horrible,  we will wait for the waitress and the waiters for 14 minutes before we could order any food or drinks at the tables. Once the bartenders knew you had the unlimited drink package they will pay no attention to you. The reservation system for the dinners and shows was very inconvenient . The swimming pools and Jacuzzi's were constantly overcrowded. Sometimes the shows will say sold out, but when you got there was a lot of empty seats. The staff look lost all the time. However the ship was on excellent condition, really nice. I don't see myself going back to a Norwegian cruise, for the amount of money my wife and I paid we wouldn't have a way better service and experience on another cruise line..

From the design of our room, the shore excursions, the spa, the food, it could not have been better. It truly was fabulous! No improvements needed. The room had plenty space for all our belongings. The bathroom was large and well designed. The spa was not only relaxing but they have GoodFeet that has helped me walk straight again.

I recommend this cruise to anyone! The Ultimate Beverage Package (UBP) was the best deal we ever had on a cruise and NCL makes it easy than ever to redeem any drink that is included, just swipe and drink (drinks $15 or less, which is pretty much anything). The UBP is written on your card so the bartenders/servers know you have the package (simple and easy). One tip, bring your own water bottle for water, it will save you time going back a forth to get water between drinks (hydrated = happy!) The food was exquisite at all dining rooms and specialty restaurants. SAVOR and TASTE were wonderful for dining at breakfast time and evenings (no wait for tables of two NICE!). Cagney's was our favorite, lobster and crab cake (too die for!) as well as Modern Churrascaria and Teppanayaki (the chefs put on a good show). The crew makes the difference, so nice and willing to serve each guest. We loved the extra touch of fresh towels, wet mint-scented cloths and cold water at every port. Little things like that go a long way when you are sticky from the beach. The Million Dollar Quartet was the BEST show we have ever seen on a cruise ship. The GLOW party is a must, dont forget to bring a white outfit and extra glow sticks. The ropes course was very challenging and the plank is a daring adventure for your nerves. The water slides are super fast even for adults.  We cant wait to go back and do it again. I've cruised 7 times 5 with Norwegian since early 2000, things that used to be included for free arer now being charged for. The fact that you have to prepare pay tips on things that are supposed to have been "freebies" kinda burns me. I don't mind tipping but I don't like tipping people who didn't do anything for me personally.  Cabin stuard,  fine, but when you give me an unlimited beverage package and then charge me it really wasn't free was it? I feel like I was nickel and dimed to death, when you get the bill at the end it almost makes you not enjoy yourself. I wish they would just include ever in the price of the cruise from the start so you don't get sticker shock at the end of your vacation. 

We had an amazing time on the cruise.  I think I've seen the best entertainment on this cruise ever.  We've been on many cruises, but the entertainment on this cruise was out of this world.  It was professional. The overall service was excellent.

The Premonition that the trip was not the bill of goods I was being sold started with the king size beds that turned into queen, then the state room with no bunk beds which wound-up being with a bunk bed, then the free onboard restaurants weren't so free after all the first one run me up a $227.64 of which 38.24 was for gratuities of which I prepaid because at I was confirmed that if  I prepaid them prior to departure I would not have to bothered any added gratuities, sure then the onboard amenities started disappearing or metamorphosing into nothing like what we were offered I had to battle with guest services and the on board credit and amenities just to tray and get what I was offered here at . the ship guest services and onboard credit and amenities departments  said my third party vendor AKA ( ) were responsible for my misfortunes my daughter got the same treatment and about 18 other guest that I had a chance to interact with at guest services of which 6 were clients, hum what a coincidence, well in general I'm not a happy camper and has a client which purchased he's and his daughters cruises I am very disappointed this is the second time in two years that I've purchased my cruises throw and gotten Short Changed nickeled and Dimed it wasn't like this prior I've had the pleasure of dealing with for about 6 years and 4 prior other cruises with no major incident's but I'm seeing a negative trend here so in closing to all who reads this ( Caveat Emptor ) which translates to Let the buyer beware. if it's to good to be true it probably is. 

First of all the start of this great cruise experience was with my travel agent Joan Cohen from , she made it so easy to book the hotel and flight and cruise. The rest of it came in to place by great new ship, super clean balcony room.

awesome customer service from Norweigan getaway employees. The shows was excellent, but the show that my wife and I will never forget was illussionarium, it was spectacular.

Then staff for the most part were very friendly.  Ship was very clean.  Pool areas were exceptional.  Great food and drinks.  Entertainment was great.  Only bad part was some of the workers smelled like the didnt shower for a couple of weeks.

Norwegian Getaway was amazing!  The customer service is over the top.  Everyone treats you like you are first class, the staff is so attentive & friendly.  All the ports were great, the process was so well organized.  The only thing I would change is the accessibility of soda and water in your stateroom.  We had the unlimited drink package but had to buy can soda and bottled water from the bars to have in our stateroom.  If we already paid for our drinks we shouldn't have to leave our room and purchase them to have later.

I have been on several cruises with different cruise lines so I thought I was a seasoned cruiser.Not so. It started with entering our mini suite.The room was pitch black but where are the light switches?? Ohhh... You have to insert your room key into the master control switch to work the lights. Who knew??? I found out by calling cust service desk. Day 2 I found out the AC automatically shuts off is you don't lock the sliding door to private balcony.ok,minor glitches out of the way.I have always enjoyed having room service bring coffee,fruit and danish in the morning so I can wake up at my leisure&enjoy the beautiful sun&view from my balcony. Now there is an additional charge plus gratuity.Its not much but it's also not the only "extra" charges.Once again it's a battle to find a lounge chair ANYWHERE near the pools or hot tubs.People "reserve" them well in advance of the pools opening by placing towels&personal belongings on them.Not that I'll get the opportunity to enjoy either amenity as there's no room. 15 ppl at a time in the hot tubs, some of them children in diapers(ewww) and adults (?) bringing plates of food to enjoy for the HOURS they spend in them.By the way, they did have an exclusive area where they had those round,cushioned loungers(mmmm),pool&hot tub for adults only. I found out on day 4 that if I paid an additional fee I could have used that area. Now, THAT I would have grudgingly paid extra for.So, instead I trudged 3 flights above the pool where we finally found empty loungers& every once in a while we would climb back down to cool off in the shower by the pool... Would have been nice to have at least that 3 floors up.Nightly entertainment has changed as well. Not everything is included. Again,not terribly expensive for these shows but the nickles and dimes sure add up!! They did offer movies on their huge outdoor screen& how cool is it to relax&watch a good movie under the stars with a cocktail? Unfortunately they only show kids movies! I don't want to sound like I'm whining because my husband&i really did enjoy ourselves...there is still plenty to do that is included its just that things have really changed since my last cruise 3 years ago&i had to change with it so it caught me off guard.. Next time I will be more prepared!! And I'll be prepared to spend more&more&more....

This was my second time on Norwegian, first cruise with them was 9 years ago and there was nothing to do. Couldn't wait to get off. This cruise was great as far as entertainment, at night there was so much going on it was amazing. But, the everywhere the space was way to small. The main concern for this company seems to be capacity. Almost 5000 people on a ship and the pool is so small I didn't get a chance to swim in 7 days. The children's pool was so full the kids had no space to play. All the entertainment areas are way to small. The buffet was I'm posible to get a seat. The restaurants you had to wait.

I've done many other cruises and decided to give Norwegian a second chance, I regret spending so much money. I will never go on a Norwegian cruise again! 

I would DEFINITELY recommend this cruise to anyone for a quick getaway! it was soooo worth it, especially the magic show!!!!! I loved the fact that we didn't have a set time to eat dinner, because my husband and I were napping too much! It was my husband's first cruise, and he loved it!

My family and I really enjoyed our cruise. The free style dining was awesome. The live band was great as well. We like the day we was able to spend in Nassau. The cruise ship was very clean. We like the the way the cruise staff help keep everything clean prior to entering thw ship we were offered sanitizer as well as when we return on the ship from Nassau everyone was handed sanitizer clothes to wipe down. We are looking forward to our next cruise soon. I hope all ships are just as nice as the Norwegian Getaway!
