Go to dinner early so you can get a window seat in the dining room. Eating dinner, while the sun was setting, and the water flowed by was so romantic and not to be missed.

Get up early and go to Savor or O'Sheehans for breakfast. Eat evening meals before 6 or after 8 to avoid the crowds. Prebook shows and remember which night you booked! Download the app before you leave Be bold in ports and plan ahead about what you want to do.

Definitely go to Illusionarium, it's a great show. Burn the Floor is fantastic. Had a great time at Howl at the Moon. The food at La Cucina is delicious. Taste and Savor serve the same menus. Tropicana is complimentary (included in your price) and makes a nice break from the Garden Cafe

O'Sheehans Bar is a great place for a quick and excellent meal. Beats the main dining room for menu and is usually not crowded. Excellent chicken wings.

Make your entertainment reservations online before departing. You can't get into a main theatre show without a reservation... we seen them sending people away because they had no reservations. They're like the box office bouncers.

If you want a relaxing breakfast, go to one of the dining rooms. They are less hectic than the buffet. If you do not have a Haven cabin, definitely pay the extra cost for access to the Thermal suite. It is pure heaven and you will leave the cruise rejuvenated and unstressed.

Read the daily itinerary that is placed in your cabin nightly. It lists all activities for the next day, as well as an hour by hour choice of activity. Leave all jewelry behind when going on the blue or green slide. Otherwise, they will ask you to take them off. Some shows have PG-13 content. Ask.

Pay extra for the vibe club its worth it to have a little bit on paradise while on the ship plus not having to get up early to get a lawn chair.

The Italian restaurant was excellent. Also the game shows in Atrium were very funny. Do not miss the New Seasw group. The vocalist is so talented with such a great voice.

Sheehan's grill and bar was the greatest. Great breakfast, no lines and we don't think many people knew or read that it was open for breakfast.

MY Tip to any one cruising on the Getaway! Just try as many things as time allows and have fun, I do every time and if I find the right friend to share my cruise with, I think it would be even better.
