Try the smaller (Taste and Savor) main dining rooms for meals much more intimate and at no charge.
on embarkation day go to one of the complimentary restaurants for lunch and avoid the crowded lido.
Go to dinner early so you can get a window seat in the dining room. Eating dinner, while the sun was setting, and the water flowed by was so romantic and not to be missed.
Definitely go to Illusionarium, it's a great show. Burn the Floor is fantastic. Had a great time at Howl at the Moon. The food at La Cucina is delicious. Taste and Savor serve the same menus. Tropicana is complimentary (included in your price) and makes a nice break from the Garden Cafe
Get up early and go to Savor or O'Sheehans for breakfast. Eat evening meals before 6 or after 8 to avoid the crowds. Prebook shows and remember which night you booked! Download the app before you leave Be bold in ports and plan ahead about what you want to do.
Couples-H20 Spice. Quiet on the back of the ship-Adults only. Atrium-New Season Band are very good music.
Recommend breakfast at the Flamingo Grill, it is a nice quiet area, small buffet with nice choices. The pool area gets extremely busy, hard to find chairs together, so if you want a nice relaxing area, buy into Vibe, I did not and regretted it.
The Flamingo diningroom was the best . I love the way you could have dinner and dance my husband couldn't say he was to tired to take me out to dance.
Book entertainment befor you leave home. Pay restaurants are NOT worth the upcharges. I have been on other ships in the past that were worth the upcharges, not here!
Watch Joel's morning show on the TV and read the daily bulletin so you won't miss anything. Make your reservations for the shows, Legally Blonde, Burn the Floor, or Illusarium. If you eat at Moderno, bring your appetite and go a little easy on the abundant creative salad bar so yo
The Italian restaurant stands out. When ordering drinks, specify "well" or specific brands, or else you will get upscaled to higher priced drinks without your consent.
Plenty of diversity from "walking the plank" to attending a comedy act. The French Bistro was outstanding. They were so accommodating even though we did not have reservations.
If you want a more private area to hang out join the Vibe Beach Club. We joined on the day we left port because I hear they sell out. It was never very crowed and we always had a seat.
The convenience of Free-style Cruising made dinner easy.
We liked the outside sitting areas on the 8th deck opromenade with outside bar lounge areas...more live music in those areas would have been nice. Did not learn until 4th day that Do Not Disturb for our room is an electrical switch on the wall up high near the door.
Spend the extra money for specialty dining. The food and atmosphere are worth it.
Definitely go to see Burn the floor and al other shows. Must engage in all activities on the ships. .too many to list. Loved all the bands specially the international band Loved the fireworks on the ship and Halloween and all other parties.
Try out all the dining options. The buffet is not the main thing of the course. try there other places to eat. to get the whole cruise experience
go to brazil restaurant Maderno ask for andrew Maitred, taste ask for maria dixon
bring sea sick pad with you. bring your on wine / no sweet wine on the boat . I like sanguine or bluebreey wine. bring water. no iron they will take it from you.
