Review summary

Great service and Beautiful Ship. For 4100+passengers it does not feel crowded. I noticed all where having a great time. Plenty of things to do on board. Love the Sea Days!! We loved it so much and will cruise on the Getaway again soon. This was our seventh cruise. Crew were great. Our favorite ship. We were on deck 5 with an outside cabin. Smooth sailing.

Great Food. Too many restaurants to choose from. We had dinner at Cagney;s Steakhouse for an upcharge. I so recommend this. Best steak I have ever had. great experience/

Loved our cabin-was spacious and the bath was nice.

Ship tip

Couples-H20 Spice. Quiet on the back of the ship-Adults only. Atrium-New Season Band are very good music.

Went to Cabbage Beach. Beautiful Beach, Too many locals selling items and too many jet skis ruin the beach, with the smell of gasoline. they run them all around you that you do not feel safe in the water. Would not go back to this beach.

Sorry for the delayed response – we’ve been cruising!  Our cruise aboard Norwegian Getaway was just a short one when she first came out, not a full week, but we’ve been on twelve Norwegian cruises so far including a week aboard sister ship Norwegian Breakaway, so we know them well!  (We’ve also been on tons of other cruises too, so let us know if you ever have questions!)  Our Eastern Med cruise last week was fantastic – hopefully we’ll have a review up next week (lots of catching up at work first).

Hey WeCruiseToo, No-Sad to say-we did not try the Fries. To be honest, we had the bone-in Ribeye and I cannot remember the sides :) When did you sail on the Getaway? What excursions did you do? I see your are cruising soon-I would love to hear about this trip. I would love to do that one. Have safe travels!!

Thanks for the review! Did you get those amazing Parmesan Fries to go with your steak at Cagney’s? The truffle oil really makes them delicious!
