Review summary

Loved the ship, embarkation was a breeze, Burn the Floor was excellent, Legally Blonder was great, we are booked again for October.  IF YOU ARE A BALLROOM DANCER, do not expect to be overwhelmed with that style of dancing!!  Lots of Latin, salsa, bachata, cha-cha, merengue, no waltz, etc.  we looked forward to dancing in the Tropicana room and did on occasion but not as much as we would have liked. IF YOU ARE A LATITUDES MEMBER be aware that the welcome back party will be OUTSIDE at the Spice H2o location, worst possible place!!  less than 100 of the 500 eligible showed up for the event, NCL if you are listening, move the venue back inside where it belongs, the NCL Sky does a MUCH better job with its Latitudes members. The ship was great, very easy to navigate, eat early and avoid the dinner lines. Loved our balcony cabin on deck 11.

Of course I will not leave him alone on the balcony, but I was not sure if the obstruction came up so that he would not be able to see unless he was being held up.  I thought I read somewhere that it the hull of the boat was the obstruction and he would not be able to see over it.

Hi pheck.  You can see the water from every obstructed view we’ve ever seen and all balconies can be climbed on.  I’m sure you wouldn’t leave him alone on the balcony, but it’s probably better to stick with an oceanview stateroom than to be terrified if you’re worried about it.

I am not sure if you will get my question or not, but I have a 3 year old and I am not sure if the view is obstructed on this balcony.  Will I have to lift him up to see the water or can he see it on his own.  I know my boy and if he can't see it on his own, he will find a way to climb up the balcony which is terrifying
