Overall, the ship is beautiful and the change in itinerary was due to weather, so I don’t hold that against MSC, however, the dining options need to be looked at as well as maybe a few more activities, other than bingo and trivia to do during the day. This is also not my first MSC cruise. I have been on at least four of their other ships and I find across the fleet. They are all pretty much the same. They are beautiful and laid out very easy to navigate. However, dining options and activity options are not always high on the list

Overall the cruise was boring. Ship was old, need new furniture, updated decorations. Room was too small and bed uncomfortable. Food was mediocre, either tasteless or too salty. Entertainment was nothing to rave about.

All in all the cruise was good. The staff wonderful. We enjoyed the ports. The ship was beautiful! We feel that there were too many long lines, to shows, dinner, etc. The tendering was horrible. There was no communication to the staff from the administration on what they were supposed to do. The “Yacht Club” needs to have a separate area to get on and off the ship. They were coming up and breaking in line. After you have been waiting an hour, don’t break in front of me unless it’s an emergency. There almost was a passenger mutiny! We have been on several cruises before, Carnival and Royal Caribbean, and never had these issues. Hopefully a lesson was learned on this one. The captain did a wonderful job in diverting a tropical storm. Five stars to him. Again our dining staff, Premarj, Ryan, Russel and our room attendant Suyra were fantastic! MSC is not as good as it used to be, especially Main Buffet. A lot of room for improvement.

I would recommend MSC. Don't expect excellent food service in main dining room.

The ship is beautiful. Don't like that THEY pick my tour times !! That has always been my decision on other cruise lines. They way they have the meal times scheduled is NOT passenger friendly at all. Sea Days are horrible if you want a sit down meal - not accomdated for that -- mainly buffet times. I don't think this ship knows how to relate the schedule to fit the cruise. They do not account for the New England weather into their meal schedule at sea or not! Always very long lines to enjoy a sit down meal ! NO, Breakfast time is not friendly at all on sea day - 7-9am??? Really?? & in only one restaurant !!! Lunch is only served on sea day and is only for one hours 12 - 1pm!! NO, people aren't by the pool and are indoors being up North !!! Everyone is eating indoors !!! I doubt I would go on this ship again or recommend it - too many dissappointments.

Overall, this cruise was another great MSC experience. Food was very good, service was fantastic, crew was helpful and friendly. Scheduling of excursions was very frustrating. Didn't know excursion times until late the night before. Times on our agenda on the app would change. Excursion tickets wouldn't match the actual times of the excursions. Spoke with excursion staff on multiple occasions. They were very helpful, and I learned that the excursion and planning system is the problem, not the staff. We will cruise with MSC again.

The lack of organization for getting on and off the ship in each of the ports (including tendering) was severely mismanaged. The MSC website and app need a complete rework. The staff management on the ship is lacking and the crew is clearly overworked and exhausted. The MDR layout in Golden Olive was too tight and you could not enter or exit without getting in the way of servers or other diners. The food was mostly great. Some MDR staff busted their butts and never stopped working, while several just stood around half the time not working at all. We only saw one of the MDR management guys in the black coats helping refill drinks, help guests and waitstaff, etc. The rest acted like they were too good to help even when the staff was clearly falling behind.

We will most certainly cruise with MSC again. Yes, we were in YC, but I do not see a reason for so many bad reviews about the food. Yes, the menus are small, but we always found things we liked, and the portion sizes were good. We never left hungry looking for something else.

The booking, embarkation and disembarkation was the best parts.

This is my second time on the MSC Meraviglia and I enjoy all that the ship has to offer and the commitment of the staff and crew. I came back due to the amazing activities and shows. I also enjoyed the 3 days in Bermuda allowing me to come and go as I pleased.

Amazing experience this is our first time experience we feel comfortable and relaxed ,enjoying ,nice dinner experience managers and waiters are nice and always try to make us happy we share our experiences to our friends and they’re very excited to visit msc soon

Everything was okay until I experienced the racism at Waves restaurant during lunch. When it was brought to the guy’s attention what he was doing wasn’t right, he didn’t understand why we had a problem with his behavior. It acted like we were the problem.

We had lot of stresses within our cruise on Meraviglia (cons): 1. After embarkation at Brooklyn Cruise Terminal all our items in the delivered luggage were wet. My luggage was kept under the heavy rain before delivery. 2. In Miami BigBus Company started our Hop-on Hop-out excursion at 9:00 am on the pier near Meraviglia. It was no synchronization between information from headphones and reality. The excursion finished at 11:00 near the shopping mall three miles from Meraviglia. A lot of old people have had to wait for the shuttle bus for two hours without air conditioners. 3. In the Marketplace Buffet some of people pushed me out from counter to take bananas, apples or grape. Probably the buffet hasn’t enough places to take out these fruits. 4. Day after leaving Nassau around 9:00 am a heavy fume a smell of painting came to our stateroom #12075. We complained to the Service. Next minutes the officer came to our stateroom. He told us that painting is provided at desk 7, and he will try to stop it. But it was too late, fumes intoxicated the air condition system. During the whole day we couldn’t use our stateroom. Painters forgot to protect air intake holes. 5. Several times I attempted to eat beef in the restaurant Waves (10), but it was too hard. Usually on cruise lines, the last day dinner is delicious and has the best quality. But at Meraviglia we had the opposite experience. Beef pizzaiola was hard and not eatable. How is it possible to make the beef pizzaiola hard? I asked waiters to bring me swordfish instead the beef. But fish also was not the best. Finally I had my Dinner in the buffet. 6. Gelato at the desk 6 is overpriced, over sweetened and is not the same as real Italian Gelato. A lot of positive impressions we had also on Meraviglia (pros): 1. Eduin Godoy our Cabin # 12075 Steward from Honduras was the best for all our cruises. We had home-like filing in our stateroom. Everything was clean and very comfortable. We are ready to take the next cruise in any stateroom where Eduin will be our steward. Thank you, Eduin! 2. In Meraviglia restaurants (10) Waves and Panorama we met very professional staff: Ravindra Bora Waiter India Glaizel Suarez Dinning Services Philippines Dragoljub Pejovich Head Waiter Montenegro Ghiocel Postolache Restaurant Manager Romania Orlando Luna Head Waiter Honduras Alexis Asuncion Ass. With any questions we attended the Guest Service desk. Japheth Mashengu Guest Service Agent Kenya solved any our problems on the highest professional level. Special THANK YOU to Japheth! Because of Japheth we are ready to take next cruise on Meraviglia. 4. Some of the food was very tasty. All the soups were very good. The mashed potato was very tasty. Ice cream in restaurants always was good. 5. Embarkation and disembarkation were very well organized.

This is my second cruise on this ship in 4 months and I’m ready to go back in December it is a floating palace I love it

The ship is grate and the staff was awesome, the food was fair and the specialty restaurant not as good as other cruise lines. The check in though constantly moving took about 1 1/2 hour. Bermuda has great beaches and the people are friendly and accommodating. The prices on the island are a little high as everything has to be imported. We used public transportation (2 day pass is about $32.00 PP and it includes busses and ferries) depending of the hours of the day the busses can get quite full and may pass you by if they are full, so have patience. Horseshoe bay is the most popular beach, but if you don't want to buy drinks or food , 2 bus stops down is another beach that is awesome and very few people. Actually if you walk left from horseshoe bay beach you will eventual end up there. Overall is a nice cruise!! I recommend a drink package if you have more than a couple of drinks a day.

The ship is immaculate. There’s a lot to do. The shows were awesome. The food was very good. On the second night in the MDR lobster and 5oz beef tenderloin on the same plate. This cruise was going to Bermuda and I know what to do ,where to go, etc. The Meraviglia was there three days which was great.

Bermuda was beautiful and fun. New York was a lot of fun. Ship was lovely and excursions were quite enjoyable. Hidden charges for a lot of activities onboard and staff was not very attentive. Food at buffet was the worst I have had on any cruise, and I have been on around 20 cruises.

One of the best trips. Will cruise again! We had a really great time!
