Review summary

The ship is grate and the staff was awesome, the food was fair and the specialty restaurant not as good as other cruise lines. The check in though constantly moving took about 1 1/2 hour. Bermuda has great beaches and the people are friendly and accommodating. The prices on the island are a little high as everything has to be imported. We used public transportation (2 day pass is about $32.00 PP and it includes busses and ferries) depending of the hours of the day the busses can get quite full and may pass you by if they are full, so have patience. Horseshoe bay is the most popular beach, but if you don't want to buy drinks or food , 2 bus stops down is another beach that is awesome and very few people. Actually if you walk left from horseshoe bay beach you will eventual end up there. Overall is a nice cruise!! I recommend a drink package if you have more than a couple of drinks a day.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good but the specialty restaurants ambiance need help. When compared to other cruise lines it is not my top 3

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The this cruise the pools were very full but well taken care of.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows are fair. The comedian was very good and the singers in the regular shows were good. In the Houdini Carousel show ( a paid experience) the singers were awesome, but the Houdini performer detracted the experience from the show. I would not recommend.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

AWESOME TEAM!! especially in the SKY LOUNGE. I cant say enough about Sudi and Francisco also the Brazilian guy (sorry I forgot his name). Room Stewart was great and the dining room server!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I have no complaints about the ship, it was awesome.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I had an inside cabin and it was great (I spend little time in it) but since it did not have a sofa or extra chair in the room like most ships do, it felt roomy and not constricted.

Ship tip

Take a look at your cruise port, this one was docked in Brooklyn. I thought it left out of Manhattan so it was a little harder to get to it from downtown. Also have patience when chalking in, it will take a little while. The Muster drill is different, have to listen to your tv in the room, dial a number from the room to check in after you heard it and then go down to the muster station and check in. Its not bad , but different than other ships.

The port is a little older than other cities.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

Very nice area and easy way to find transportation in the island.

Disembarkation

It was always very organized and one day they had the cold towels before entering the ship
