We will most certainly cruise with MSC again. Yes, we were in YC, but I do not see a reason for so many bad reviews about the food. Yes, the menus are small, but we always found things we liked, and the portion sizes were good. We never left hungry looking for something else.
Embarkation

Sailing YC you have a dedicated area outside to drop off your bags and are then directed to the YC tent where a butler will quickly Wisk you through your check in process and bring you straight up to the YC
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food in the YC was fantastic. The specialty restaurants that we went to were all great. We ate at HOLA Tacos & Cantina, Ocean Cay, Butchers Cut steak house, Kaito Teppanyaki and Kaito Sushi Bar.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The galleria is amazing the LED ceiling has short shows that were interesting. The YC amenities are first class. The pool in the YC is small but not crowded.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We went to the two specialty shows ROCK CIRCUS and HOUSE OF HOUDINI in the Carousel theater. Both shows where very good although the drinks weren't that good. The only shows we went to in the main theater was the magic shows that was ok but nothing special.
Service and Staff

It's Yacht Club do we need to say more.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The design was breath taking and always clean. You always saw people cleaning all over the ship. The only down fall is the sewer smell in the suite bathroom
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The cabin was very nice and has a large balcony and plenty of storage. The only complaint we have is that MSC, at least on the Meraviglia needs to resolve their sewer venting system. Walking into our cabin's bathroom always had a sewer smell. My understanding is that this is not unusual, and that staff is aware, MSC needs to resolve. Would it stop me from sailing with them again, no, but it wasn't pleasant.
Ship tip
You MUST try one of the Hot Chocolates at Jean-Philippe Chocolat & Cafe, there is a extra fee but so worth it.
The Duck Boat tour we went on was a lot of fun. The only drawback is the port is not close enough to anything to walk to so you need to take some sort of transportation to explore the city
Charlottetown is one of our favorite ports, we have visited it three times. There are a lot of great shops right at the port and the area is breathtaking.
