A: They will provide you with extra hangers, no problem. You can ask for "robes, facial tissue, face cloths, slippers, lotion, fruit, ice, etc". It's a toss up if you receive all of these, depending on the cabin steward, itinerary, and region. Just ask... , them and not the front desk. You would be surprised at what a cabin steward or butler can do. Enjoy your cruise.See More

Q: When Sailing out of NY when can you expect to feel the weather getting warmer (first time cruiser)

A: About 2 days depending on how cold it is at the time. but 2 days would be the norm.
Answered by Skooby on November 20, 2024
A: Yep. About 2 days is normal, though you could get lucky when you get near South Carolina (but don’t bet on it). When you get to the Bahamas is typical if you’re sailing in January or February, but even then it’s like Miami weather. You could have... an odd rainy day in the upper 50s.See More

A: I've sailed out of that port many times. Once you get past the Carolinas, the weather gets warmer. It's usually about 2 days sailing.
Answered by CruiseQueenNH on November 24, 2024
A: I can give you a first hand account. I left NYC on Queen Mary the evening of November 20th, and on November 22nd (half way to st Thomas) it was significantly warmer. The 23rd was even warmer, swimming pool warm and today it's scorching hot and humid... (for me). So 2 days will do it.See More

A: there is a bag in the closet. You can place clothes in it that are to be laundered or cleaned by the ship. the price list is in the bag. MSC does not have self service washers and dryers. I understand Princess does have them.
Answered by outtoseapatty on September 24, 2024
A: Yes! If you go on the app, “manage cruise” you can add the service, just like you would an excursion or spa. Hope this helps & happy cruising 🤩⚓️😎❣️‼️

A: If you mean is there a laundry you can send your clothes out to, all MSC ships have them.
Answered by ManInMotion on September 20, 2024
Q: I wanted to know if there was like a laundry facilities somewhere where you can iron your clothes on board I know it’s something that not a lot of people think about while they’re on vacation but you know when you wanna iron something that’s a little wrinkled to go to dinner and what not it would be nice to take care of that I will be taking Downey wrinkle release, but I don’t know how good that works. How about the yacht club would help out with that?

A: If you have a small spray bottle, fill it with water, spray the material with water and let it sit and use the MSC hair dryer thereafter and see if that will take the wrinkles out.
Answered by Skooby on September 13, 2024
A: You can run hot water from shower w bathroom door tightly shut til bathroom is filled with steam. This will be about 1-2 min on cruise. Have your outfit placed on hangers ready. Open door and quickly turn off the shower. Hang the outfits in the s... team and quickly shut the bathroom door to keep steam in. Your clothes should b wrinkle free in 15-30 min. They may be a little damp, so take them out to finish. I do this early in the day.See More
Answered by outtoseapatty on September 13, 2024

A: Hi SailAwayAnnie, the hair braiding is now at the new “Straw Market”. When you leave your ship walk towards the end of the pier. Stay on your right until you get to the very end of the pier & exit, towards Sr. Frog’s. The new building is directly... across the street from where the ships dock. Bring cash. Also, I’m posting a couple of pictures as an fyi. Have a blast, happy cruising 😎⚓️🤩❣️‼️See More

Q: I am not a big drinker so I was thinking the cheaper option, which is called “Easy Package”. Is this package good or should Inlook

A: Easy Plus will cover all the Beers but Easy doesn't. They have some good bottled beers that are out of the ordinary. Easy only has Heineken. If you don't mind that, then go with Easy.
Answered by Skooby on August 30, 2024
A: my experience is that oftentimes they are out of the higher end stuff. the plus is probably the best for most people. but the basic one is fine if you are ok with some limited options.
Answered by cruzancarroll on August 30, 2024
A: Yes. Starts at 5,000 points for an inside room. The more points you get the better the comped room.

Q: Does anyone know how the internet and streaming one device works?! I have included internet for one device but would love to upgrade to the streaming for one device

A: ....also, if you have a certain status you can get a percentage off of the wifi charges. It's listed on MSC's Voyager Club page on their website, for additional information.
Answered by Skooby on July 6, 2024
A: In order to upgrade, you will need to do so on the ship. Once you sign into your one device, there should be the option for streaming. Make sure you turn off any VPN or other blocking service on your phone so it will work seamlessly.

Q: I’m thinking of going on this ship this summer from New York with an 11 year old and a 1 year old. We normally go with Royal Caribbean do you think we will be disappointed? Or should we try it?
Thumbs Up

A: I think you and the baby will be fine but the 11 year old would be disappointed. The pre-teen boy is Royal’s target demographic so they put a lot of their resources into that age group entertainment.

A: Hi momb65, I think the kids will have a blast! They have the activities program for small children, older & teens. Ask your MSC Concierge for specifics on how the program works, costs (if any) & enrollment. We used a similar service on Norwegian (... free) years back for my kids & they LOVED it. Not sure what it’s called on MSC. They also have a dedicated kids section, arcade, and basketball court all on Deck 16. Their ice cream parlor is only open from 11 to 5pm/unlimited ~ deck 15. All you can eat pizza is simply delicious Happy Cruisin 😎⚓️🤩❣️‼️See More

A: I just looked up your upcoming cruises to determine which ports your cruise will stop. Since it's Bermuda only, yes there's a beach nearby the port, but on the rocky side. There are shuttle buses that go a little further to different beaches that a... ren't as rocky. I would suggest you purchase at least a two day transportation pass for buses and ferries.See More
