Food was better than expected. Staff was friendly, however most did not speak well English and there was a major language barrier. Additionally, the lines for the bars were extremely long with an average wait time in line of 40 minutes. Would be nice if there were more bar staff/locations. The port was extremely clean and nice amenities.

Don’t go! Pick another cruise line and port. It’s not even average. Their customer service is really bad! The ship was nice and the little island beautiful 🤩

Overall poor communication and limited staff. Ship could be nice but msc has either difficulty in getting staff or have cut to bare bones.

Nice cruise overall but the embarkation experience was terrible it needs to be addressed

Paid extra for Fantastica Experience but was never able to use room service. They were out of breakfast items and phone number was constantly busy

This was a Christmas gift for our daughter and twin 14-year-old granddaughters. Cruise issues started from Embarkation (took 2 hours) to Disembarkation (took 4 Hours). The Buffet set-up was horrible. At times there were no Plates, Silverware or Drink Glasses available. WE were supposed to have Pool Towels in the Room. We went to the Pool and they did not want to give us towels, We told to get them from the Room Stewart. Once we found our Room Stewart; we were told the laundry was not working and get them from the Pool attendant. All activity venues were very crowded and there was a lack to bar servers and bartenders, When we complained we were told by several crew members that there were 5000 people on this ship to try and service. The ships APP was very confusing and did not work much of the time. I had the WIFI package had had to visit their IT people several after waiting in a long line. This is just a snippet of issues we encountered, WILL NOT USE MSC AGAIN.

The boat seemed short staffed. The food was terrible. The buffet line was super long and food was cold and poorly organized. Although the entertainment staff was pleasant, not too much to do while on the deck. Was impossible to get a seat at the pool during sea days.

Cruise was great, was not. Last time I will ever book with them.

This was simple luxury. Everything felt a little morr classy than some other cruises we have been on. We will definitely go again.

I've been on two New Year's Eve cruises with MSC, but after this one, I'm ready to try another cruise line. The Meraviglia is a nice ship but well understaffed. There were few servers and bartenders that showed enthusiasm about their job.

My first cruise, and I look forward to the next; based on the excellent service provided in all areas, and the satisfaction I had while cruising.

This was our second MSC Cruise. Our first MSC cruise was a 4 day in August 2022 on the Divina. When we boarded our cabin was not cleaned. The mattress cover was stained and dirty. Not a very good first impression, The cabin crew deep cleaned our cabin and after that our cruise experience was wonderful. Excellent service, food and entertainment. Our experience on the Meraviglia was terrible. Overbooked, too crowded and our party of seven came home very ill, one with Covid and others with flu symptoms.

Overall experience full of way too much time spent getting our dinner times at our restaurant for the time stated on our itinerary. Dint know if dropped the ball on that one as our party of 6 dinner times varied or not sitting at the same table.With the exception of our room steward and wait staff at dinner who were excellent,I found most others to be rude. I understand the weather was bad for half of our cruise but found this trip to be a big disappointment overall.

- Excursion desk staff member by the name of Ali M. was rude and unprofessional. When I inquired his name, he hid his badge and refused to reveal his full name. When I took his picture for identification purpose he physically chased and harassed me. How can MSC hire such staff? - The fact that excursion desk hours begin after 5:00 PM makes no sense. Guests have better priorities than to stand in long lines at Excursion Desk in the evenings. It took me over 1-hour to make reservations for the Carousel Lounge shows. - Lines for lunch at Ocean Cay were over an hours long. When we complained to the staff, their response was that we could back to the ship to eat. How insensitive is that. We have never experienced such lack of concern for guests time, comfort and inconvenience on any of the other cruise lines we have sailed over the years, i.e. Royal Caribbean, Carnival, NCL, Holland America, etc. - On multiple occasions, we could NOT find any clean coffee cups in the Market Place restaurant. It took us 45 minutes to find coffee mugs.

This is our 1st and last MSC Cruise EVER!!!! And would never recommend it!!

We had a wonderful first family cruise on MSC. The ship was clean and very updated. Food was great in the main dining room but the buffet was sometimes not so good. We missed one of our ports due to bad weather but that couldn't be helped. The bars and lounges offered plenty of seating and the bar staff was always very friendly and got our drinks out right away. I feel the kids area was lacking activities because our 10 yr old kept saying he was bored but our older teen children always found things to do. The broadway theater shows are some of the best we have ever seen on a cruise ship. I would definitely recommend this ship if looking for a great value and want to experience cruising.

Overall, we liked this cruise and what it offered at the price we paid. We've cruised before on other lines and are looking at other lines again. I would cruise MSC again if the right deal came along. The ship is absolutely stunning! Wish we had been able to go to the island (check out "Building Paradise" on Tubi for a documentary about how it was made) but currents were too strong to dock. Food was good to so-so depending on what you get and when. I wish there were a bigger variety of activities scattered throughout the day. Several times there were things we wanted to do that interfered with our dining time, so we couldn't do them. We could have gone to the buffet to solve that, but by day 3 the adults were pretty "over" the buffet. My kids loved it every time, though. I truly love the kindness and friendliness of a majority of the staff. They dealt with a capacity cruise with their very best. My judgement was impacted by a few experiences that brought that overall score down, but that doesn't mean that staff were intentionally inattentive. Overall, a fun cruise. A cruise is what you make it, but that doesn't mean you don't have to talk about things that can be improved upon. I'd definitely consider one again at the right price-point, but I won't be an "MSC Exclusive".

This is the first, last and only time I will sail on MSC. It took over an hour and a half to embark. Food and service in the restaurant was fair, at best. Towels were thin and rough as sandpaper. Couldn’t take a drink into theater. Photocopied menu in restaurant. Daily planner not supplied in cabin (just advertising). Need I continue?

It is sad that the staff works so hard to please the people but management does not have what it takes to accommodate such a large group of people.
