This was our second MSC Cruise. Our first MSC cruise was a 4 day in August 2022 on the Divina. When we boarded our cabin was not cleaned. The mattress cover was stained and dirty. Not a very good first impression, The cabin crew deep cleaned our cabin and after that our cruise experience was wonderful. Excellent service, food and entertainment. Our experience on the Meraviglia was terrible. Overbooked, too crowded and our party of seven came home very ill, one with Covid and others with flu symptoms.

Adult pool was so small you might fit 12 people in this tiny pool. Laughable for a 5200 person ship!

Terrible service in dining rooms. Waiters no personality. Food ordered never came and when reminded still didn't come. The managers never came to the tables to see how you were doing and if there was anything you needed.

Ship design was wonderful especially the promenade. The cleanliness was a big problem, The chair seats in the main dining room and in the Marketplace Buffet were disgustingly dirty and stained. The furniture in the bar and theater areas were very uncomfortable. Two elevators on our floor were not working.
Cabin / Stateroom

The closet was way too small to accommodate clothes for two people. The balcony way too small. The sheets were old and worn. The cushions on the sofa were flipped over the wrong way and when we flipped them over we could see why. They were so stained and dirty! The rug was dirty and stained and need to be cleaned.

This Port was truly wonderful. They know how to do it right! Numerous and very clean bathroom accommodations, Great shops, pool and bars. Just a great Port!
What time did you board the ship? Did they tell you the cabin had already been cleaned? I have gone to my cabin before 3pm (when they said the cabins would be all cleaned) and was able to get in but it wasn't cleaned yet. At first I thought the steward just did a bad job, then I figured out the problem was me for showing up early.
