Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas overview

MSC Cruises has debuted its own private island destination, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. Set in the Bahamas, just south of Bimini, this slice of paradise features two miles of pristine sandy white beaches, crystal blue waters, and numerous activities perfect for a fun-in-the-sun day.

With Ocean Cay’s close proximity to Florida ports, the island will be included on most of MSC Cruises’ Bahamas and Caribbean itineraries. MSC has built an on-site pier at Ocean Cay, eliminating the need for a tender to the island and giving guests easier access on and off the ship. MSC will dock at Ocean Cay for the day, but the line plans to incorporate overnight stays with select itineraries. As such, MSC has developed a range of nighttime events and activities on the island like Junkanoo parades and beach parties, or evening paddleboarding.

Gorgeous! They have done a fantastic job. So many beautiful spots, so you can find your perfect place. They have made lots of lagoons to explore. It’s still a work in progress, but what they have now is incredible, and can’t wait to see what they’ll have done next time. Favorite private island we’ve ever been to. MSC should be very proud.

The weather dropped to much cooler temps. Jellyfish and sharks took over the lagoon forcing people out of the water. MSC & Ocean Cay souvenirs available and at fair prices. Convenient food trucks. Bars aren't fully stocked but your easy drink package works. The light show was very cool but could be longer in duration. Took great photos and videos at sunset.

Thank you MSC for turning this industrial mining island into the most beautiful Marine Reserve in the Bahamas . The lighthouse, beach and water are amazing.

Fantastic place, all you need to relax and beach, lagoon is the best place with plenty of chair and across from the buffet. There’s a trolley that bring you all over if you desire, food at the buffet is excellent with table.
