This was simple luxury. Everything felt a little morr classy than some other cruises we have been on. We will definitely go again.
Embarkation

Took a while but painless
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

All the food was excellent!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The gym was very nice and we used it at least once a day. Trivia is always fun. I like the visual trivia in the TV Studio! The ropes course was safe and fun.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The stage shows were done well. The offer two additional shows that you had to pay - Rock Circus and House of Houdini. They were both good but I would buy them in advance at a discounted price next time.
Children's Programs
We did not have any children on board
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward Luis was phenomenal! He was very attentive to all of our needs and very friendly. Our dining room team Koko and Jnana were amazing. Every staff person that we encountered was very friendly and helpful!!!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
While the Meraviglia is a large ship and it was fully booked, the only time we felt crowded was certain times at the buffet but we found a nice quiet area to eat at every day. Everything was very luxurious and didn't have the feel of some other party-type cruises.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin was beautiful and very clean. Luis came in at least a couple of times a day. We had a gorgeous view and spent a lot of time on our balcony.
Ship tip
One of the paid shows will suffice. They are pretty close to the same thing- singing, dancing, aerial acrobatics and very few magic tricks
We did an excursion to a Mayan house and temple plus a tequila tasting and the beach. It was our first time to Costa Maya and we absolutely loved the excursion and the area. The tour guides,. Gerardo and Danny were very knowledgeable and friendly.
We went on the Altun Ha and the Olde Belize River excursion. Our tour guides Joyce and Norman were amazing. They had a lot of history and local knowledge plus they were able to tell us about all the wild animals we saw on our trip down the river. Definitely will go back!
We have been to Cozumel before but this was a completely different experience. We went on the Living History tour that took us through the Pueblo de Maiz Mayan park. One word - awesome! Then we saw some horse dancing to Mariachi music at our tequila tour. That was very cool. Armando was great!
Did not do an excursion but walked around the island and checked everything out. MSC has done a beautiful job on this private island. It is beautiful yet with all the beautification, it still remains natural and a wonderful escape from the world.
