From the first day until the last everything was awesome, such a friendly staff!
The food, well was remarkable and the dinner at night offered food we had never tasted before and gave us that opportunity. We had great service also we got close to the waitresses/servers in the restaurant.
Very beautiful ship . You can find what to do for every interest . The shows excellent . Food at Windjamer Café is good , fresh , a fairly wide range , very good service . Food in the dining room was very delicious . Service great .All it created a sense of celebration, comfort and care.
Try the bran muffins! We always go to the dining room for breakfast and lunch. Love the new salad bar and breakfast bar. You can order from the menu or from the bar. The 5th deck was so much fun. You could find whatever you wanted there. Loved the pool with the steps going into it.
We had dinner in Leonardo's and every night our waiter Juan Gonzalez went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
Pizza and sandwiches were good on the Promande and Windjammer was great for breakfast and lunch.
Make sure you pay your gratuities since this is the only way the housekeeper and waiters get paid! I think the cruise lines should be obligated to pay their employees a good wage and if the customers leave gratuities it should be a bonus for the staff for their hard work!
The ship was pretty, and the only decent places to eat onboard were the specialty restaurants only! It seemed they were the only places that prepared fresh foods, as they were the only restaurants I did not get sick from, but who wants to be forced to eat elsewhere when you purchase inclusive pckg.
Loved the Café Promenade with free coffee, cold water, pastries and sandwiches day and night. Loved the Sorrento's pizza, also. We appreciated that the beverage packages and spa specials, etc. weren't constantly hawked to us as we walked by. We found that annoying on another cruise line.
We were traveling with two older ladies, and found good "resting places" in the library and computer area, the Cafe Promenade, and the outside area on deck 4 where there are both smoking and nonsmoking areas.
We chose to eat in the Windjammer for most of our meals. We did not want to have to carry anything but casual clothes. Formal has never been in our vacation plans! The food was great at breakfast, lunch and dinner and there was never a wait.
More attention needs to be placed on needs of people who have some disability. I have travelled 6 times on RC before with no disability, but this time I was OK till the wrong tour and heavy walking tore my hips and back up (not anticipated) and then had pain for rest of trip.
