Review summary

This was our 1st cruise, Nov 1 - Nov 8 2015. For years I have asked friends and relatives about their past cruises and which ones they liked the best. Everyone said that Royal Caribbean is the best. They were right! We had a blast! Superb service from everyone... wait staff, bar staff, stateroom attendants... Wow! There was sooo much to do on the ship, great food, and we met a lot of new friends! We will definitely book our next cruise with RC!

We had a stateroom with a balcony... . nice to be able to step out on a private balcony and watch port entries while sipping coffee in the a.m. The room had plenty of space for me and my wife. The bed frame was high enough that we could store our suitcases underneath. lots of other storage space as well. Our stateroom attendant, Ganna, was great! She cleaned up in the a.m. and then did a turn down service in the p.m. with a nice towel animal.

Ship tip

We chose to eat in the Windjammer for most of our meals. We did not want to have to carry anything but casual clothes. Formal has never been in our vacation plans! The food was great at breakfast, lunch and dinner and there was never a wait.

Steve - it's great you had a super cruise.  Freedom is our favorite ship!  We love Windjammer too but you don't have to worry abut needing to be dressy in the main dining room - wear what you would if you were to get invited to a neighbor's house for dinner.  Try as many of the food venues that you can - it's part of the cruise adventure to explore.  Happy cruising!

Freedom was the best. Jake the waiter in the main dining room spoiled me rotten, I wanted to adopt him. Stacy the greeter in the windjammer was too funny. It was a beautiful ship and we had a blast on it.
