Our first Carnival cruise (after at least 12-15 others) was quite a surprise. The ship was lovely, very clean, and actually ,except for a few small things, exceeded our expectations. The balcony room was typical, Lido buffets only lacked some salad items that we enjoy, and the grill hamburgers were very good, as were the pizzas (24-hour serive) and the deli (also 24-hour) sandwiches were great. Surprise! The dining room experience was one of the best we've every had. Good dining companions, food impeccably served and the food itself, absolutely delicious. Our waiter was a delight, funny, attentive, with a great personalityand we also loved the Maitre'd who worked very hard to entertain all the diners. The warm chocolate melting cake is to die for!! No need to opt for the "specialty restaurant)"!!!

It was clean and the staff was friendly. That is the best thing I can say about the trip.

This was the cleanest ship I have ever been on! Our room was cleaned twice a day, the bar by the pool was very clean and the buffet was spotless! there were people cleaning the entire trip. Every worker we encountered was extra friendly. My husband and I had the best time. I would recomend this ship and Carnival Fun Ship cruises to anyone... As a matter of fact I have already reccomened it! We really loved it!

This was our first cruise and we had a wonderful time. We absolutely loved our waiters at dinner every night - we looked forward to dinner because they made it so special. The variety of food throughout the entire day and night kept everyone happy!! There was so much to do every day, we enjoyed so many of the scheduled activities as much as relaxing on the deck. Everything was very organized and helpful to "newby" cruisers. Our kids would want different pools the next time we cruise, as they didn't care for the salt water pools. Other than that we can not think of one thing we would change!!

Everything went well except for booking the shore excursion. Your company mentions a 15% discount on shore excursions and the shore desk didn't have any idea what I was talking about. Very disappointed.

Our overall review of the ship was the decor and convenience to all decks with plenty of elevators and plenty of activities for all ages. The whole crew was so very accommodating and went above board to fulfill all of our needs.

Being our first cruise I had nothing to compare it to. I thought overall it was a very good experience for the price we paid. Loved that you could look at your folio and dining menu's daily on the tv.

Carnival was wonderful and I highly recommend taking a cruise with them. However, customer service sucks......I was promised a $140 voucher to book a hotel room anywhere, the perk for booking the cruise with them. When booking said room, I called the hotel and they informed me that their pool would be under construction along with part of the hotel. When letting know of this unacceptable condition they told me that since I used the voucher, it could not be refunded, or another one issued. We cancelled our reservation to that hotel and we had to pay out of pocket over $200 for a hotel room. VERY disappointed in customer service. I don't think I would ever use them again, just leaves a bad taste in my mouth that they didn't come through with what they promised me after booking a $2000+ cruise through them.

this ship was the Carnival Freedom. It was an easy going cruise. It was children friendly. I like the fact that the pools and jacuzzis stayed open late at night, which allowed alot of private time.

The service staff and the help aboard the ship was poor. They were discourtious, Rude and not helpful. It is an unknow situation that we are dealing with and one that they know very well.

I loved the ship, the food, the people, everything was very nice. I had a wonderful time and would definitely take another Carnival Cruise.

This was my first cruise and I LOVED IT. I just got home and am planning my second cruise. I had a balcony cabin and would only do balcony. The view is fantastic. The entertainment on the Carnival Freedom is spectacular. I love this ship. I cried when I got off it. I miss the courteous and helpful people.

Carnival Freedom was very beautiful !! The size of the ship was huge and the layout was great.. The best part was by far the huge TV screen by the pool.. It was nice to be able to lay out and watch the shows/ movies while at sea. The ship decor was very nice with Art work hanging all around!!! I talked with a few people that were in wheel chairs and they said the ship was not a problem at all. They said it was handicap accesible and they had no problems.

we had a wonderful cruise there were times that i wish there were more activities like scrapbooking, ice carving, fruit demonstrations and the comedy was wonderful, the dancers not so hot

THE SHIPS CRUISE DIRECTOR ON THE FREEDOM WAS SO WONDERFUL, HE IS A VERY HAPPY HAPPY MAN, KEEPS EVERYONE IN STITCHES AND MAKES SURE YOU ARE HAVING A GREAT TIME. I WANT TO THANK HIM, JOHN HEALD, YOU MADE IT WORTH STAYING UP LATE AT NITE FOR ALL THE SHOWS AND WHAT HAVE YOU. I HAVE TAKE TWO OTHER CRUISES WITH CARNIVAL AND THIS ONE IS THE BEST OF THE THREE. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

The ship had anything you could want in a vacation. Beautiful dining rooms, tons of entertainment, all the food you could ever eat. We saw 2 broadway style shows, a hypnotist, and a comedian. Rooms were nice. Pool was great.

The stateroom and bathroom were much bigger than other ships. Everyone was REALLY nice and helpful. My husband is a picky eater and he was really pleased - YEAH. All events were carefully explained and convenient.

Carnival is, in my opinion, the best vacation you could possibly take--no matter which ship or which itinerary!!!

The Freedom is a very comfortable ship to travel. The lay-out of this ship is easy to get about. The room stewards are excellent-keeping your stateroom immaculate. The food is good in the dining rooms-different cuisine every night.

This itinerary was great with the exception of San Juan. Given the short stay in San Juan there really isn't time to do much. The ship's staff were all personable and helpful.
