Enjoy everything the ship has to offer, you may just have to do it on different days. LOL... Keep a Daily Itienarary handy.
Get there early for the late show comedians They were hilarious prepare to wait in long lines (hot) to check in getting off is much easier
Take advantage of the omelette station; great stuff. Lido deck is great for all meals - provides flexibility and good food. Loved Guy's Burger Joint and the Bluelguana Cantina. Don't miss the Alchemy Bar - best on the ship! The EA Sports bar is a great place to meet like minded friends.
The Mongolian Wok was the best food for us. However, they were only opened for lunch.
Try to avoid cabins towards the front of the ship on deck 8. It's directly under lido deck. You hear the chairs being moved at all hours. Try to get to the restaurant around 5:45 if you choose anytime dining. The line gets long pretty fast. Get to the comedy shows early. Seating is limited.
Dont buy the booze package. Pay per drink is usually a better buy
the fun about the cruise ship is finding your way around by the time you learn the ship it's time to leave best thing I found was to look at the map of the ship and follow it.
Lobster Tail is served on this ship.....that's the one thing I did love about this ship.
The Freedom is like living in a juke box or slot machine, it has many lights everywhere and I love it.
Free deck of cards at guest services with the Carnival logo, just ask.
There is a bathroom by the Habana Bar that is never, ever in use.
try to attend the activities hosted by the director Malcolm (whaaat?), he is very entertaining and so very funny!
I have been on the Freedom several times. One feature I really like is that the hot tubs are in the same middle area as the main pool and acitivites.
Utilize the carnival hub app. It is extremely helpful from everything to ship time, itenerary, maps, and communication to other guests
Make sure that you learn your way around the ship but if you get lost the staff is always there to point you in the right direction and are very friendly about it.
You have to try "Dinner with the Chef", It is to die for, Just don't eat the entire day before you go, as you will be very full when you are done eating. Also, be very sure of your tours on shore, Make sure you understand everything before you sign up.
Always read the FunTimes night before and just take things as they come!!!
Download the Carnival Hub app before you get on board. The daily Fun times will be at your fingertips and you can select your favorites daily.
We didn't discover the Serenity Deck til a few days in. We wish we had known about it sooner because that's where we spent most of our deck time from that point on. It's quiet, has more comfortable chairs, and fantastic little cushioned cabanas to share.
Purchase the Faster to the fun card.. It gives you priority boarding and you get to bypass much of the lines. You also get to wait in a special area with beverages and snacks if the ship boarding is delayed.
