Review summary

Since I have been on about 15 carnival cruises, I was expecting a very nice cruise experience on Carnival Freedom. I was actually disappointed with my trip this time. The food on Freedom was mediocre. The flat iron steak had no taste and the shows were disappointing except the Beatles show.

Just got back from our trip....need to locate my camera before I can share any pics of Dunns River Falls...sorry. Also, the Beatles music was performed by the singers and dancers on the Carnival Freedom and they also had a 3 person band who performed some songs as well....was a really good show.

Agree about Dunns river falls - it was a lot of fun! Do you have any pics?

If you travel to Ocho Rios, you must climb the Dunns River Falls. I took my granddaughter on this trip and we had a blast walking up the rocks. Bring your whole family and you make memories of a lifetime with the falls.

I've been on so many Carnival Cruises where the food was excellent. The Freedom could use a food makeover. Some of the shows were geared towards really old people....not the majority of people on the ship. Need to redo the shows to make them geared toward a little bit younger people who would recognize the songs.....most of the songs I did not even know...I'm sure the kids were bored to death and there were about 800 to 1000 kids on this ship during spring break.
