Being our first cruise I had nothing to compare it to. I thought overall it was a very good experience for the price we paid. Loved that you could look at your folio and dining menu's daily on the tv.

We went shopping at the stores right outside of the port. Should have done an excursion.
Don't Miss: Nothing.

Outside of the port was dirty and garbage piled all over the place. Not very pleasant. Would have to do an excursion at this port.

Didn't do any excursions.
Don't Miss: Carlos and Charlie's Restaurant

Pros: The food in the dining room and our head waitress Natalya and assistant Rudolph

Cons: Costa Rica-if you didn't do an excursion right outside of the port was dirty and smelled with the trash piled all over the place.

Recommends Carnival Freedom? Yes!
