Review SummaryOur first Carnival cruise (after at least 12-15 others) was quite a surprise. The ship was lovely, very clean, and actually ,except for a few small things, exceeded our expectations. The balcony room was typical, Lido buffets only lacked some salad items that we enjoy, and the grill hamburgers were very good, as were the pizzas (24-hour serive) and the deli (also 24-hour) sandwiches were great. Surprise!
The dining room experience was one of the best we've every had. Good dining companions, food impeccably served and the food itself, absolutely delicious. Our waiter was a delight, funny, attentive, with a great personalityand we also loved the Maitre'd who worked very hard to entertain all the diners. The warm chocolate melting cake is to die for!! No need to opt for the "specialty restaurant)"!!!
