When we got on board - we ran into people who have been doing this for 15+ years, some every year, some skipping years but it was a crowd that knew each other and many of the staff. That's the big difference between a short cruise and a Grand World Voyage. Food good, variety sometimes lacking but still, very good. Steaks in Pinnacle as good as any great steakhouse. Staff - can't say enough about how warm, friendly and helpful they are. They knew our names within the first 2 weeks and we were greeted by name. I think if I said we would like to do this again in a couple of years that would say it all.

Not applicable to us and there were very few children on board this 111 night cruise.

Ship Quality

The ship is extremely clean. But it's an older ship and they were having their issues with pipes, HVAC etc. but they were doing their best to keep up with it.

Deck 3 is the Lower Promenade. You definitely don't want deck 2. Deck 1 would be best unless your in a veranda (Deck 6) or suite (Deck 7). We had unobstructed view but the promenade is about 15 feet wide so you don't have a direct window to the world. The life boats are visible above but not blocking our view. Vacuum toilet system not the best and they tend to clog easily.
Ship tip
Don't bring too much clothing. Most people find they don't wear half of what they bring. Nobody cares if you wore that outfit a week ago.
