Take the time to get dressed for dinner and enjoy the dining room experiences, rather than the buffet, whenever it fits your schedule. We also enjoyed having room service for our morning coffee and tea so we could enjoy the views and relax a bit as we woke up.

We tried eating lunch in the horizon court one day, (you usually aren't hungry enough for a full lunch), but, if you are, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the choices.

Ask to sit in Miguel's section when you dine. When going to Vine or International Cafe, be sure to see Chef Luis. Also there is another gentlemen from Italy who is the head waiter, he talks a lot but makes you laugh. He is a sweetheart!

Elevator space is a premium when travelling with someone who needs handicap access. Leave the show as soon as you can to beat the crowds.

Keep a map of the ship with you at all times. Even after a week we were still lost on this huge ship.

Darwin the waiter in the Da Vinci dining room did an excellent job. There wee 10 people at our table and we were all gluttons. Darwin handled every ones demands and always had a smile on his face. He always had a good description of what was on the menu. He never faltered with the many orders.

Do Naturalist talks and get the book (very informative and interesting); Request foam pad for beds; Book excursions independently; Do the "Bon Voyage" experience; hire a porter for handling your luggage in port; Nomar & Francisco were great in Bottechelli; Leo great cabin steward; Beautiful sights.

All dining rooms have exceptional food. However to get the wonderful ambiance of exquisite dining the Crown and Sabatini's is well worth the additional cover charge. I would suggest that one dining experience at any of the premier dining rooms be given free of the cover charge with the cruise.
