Review summary

We've been on Princess ships before and I expected the Alaskan one to be even better (since it is more expensive).  It wasn't. We found that some of the food was not as good as previous trips and some of the staff seemed to have a very unfriendly attitude. With that said, some of the food was great and some of the staff were wonderful!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Some was great, some wasn't. The international cafe was very disappointing.

Onboard Activities

More variety would be great. There are too many art and jewerly things. It starts to feel like you are always dealing with pushy sales people.

Service and Staff

Our waiter and room steward were both great. Some of the staff, in the bars and coffee places, were very unfriendly.

Ship tip

We tried eating lunch in the horizon court one day, (you usually aren't hungry enough for a full lunch), but, if you are, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the choices.

The snow level was way down, so we didn't get very much of the fantastic glacier views.

Such an adorable little town, with beautiful mountain views. It was our favorite!
