Review summary

You do not get to see Sawyer glacier on the ship. SOMETIME you can book a tour on a small boat to see the glacier. Not very well publicized.

Booked this cruise to see the Sawyer glacier but found out about the small boat tour while watching them pull away from the ship.

Every other cruise to Alaska to Glacier Bay and College Fjord went to the glaciers without having to book a tour.

Depends on which cruise you did. Sometimes they can't go into whee he glaciers are because of ice, not their fault. Also, if you just look online under excursions in the princess website, in your online account, you can clearly see that there is an excursion to get off the ship. Not sure where the problem is. Again, none of this is the cruises fault. Ice is unpredictable.

I don't follow... sawyer glacier was a stated part of your itinerary, and it was not visited? Which sailing were you on, might I ask?
