Review summary

The $125.00 in SeaPass/on board cruise credits as per Karen Buford were to be available 21 days prior to sailing.  I called on 05/22/15 at 7pm, which is two days before departure,  and according to Karen(not Buford) at Princess Cruise Lines and Gayle at they at first could not find the $125.00 in credits from , but they could find the $100.00 from Princess Cruise Lines.  Finally after a conference call between the three of us they both said the $125.00 in credits from did show up in Princess Cruise Lines records.  Not a pleasant experience.  In addition, on 05/24/15, day of departure the $125.00 in credits did NOT show up in Princess Cruise Lines records.  It took until the next day for the $125.00 in credits to show up In Princess Cruise Lines records.  Definitely not a good showing as far as I am concerned.  Frank Jones. Austin, Texas.

If you would forward my comments to Cruises Only customer service I would appreciate it.

Frank, none of these comments are a response from anyone associated with CruisesOnly, they are from fellow cruisers in our independent cruise community who are eager to hear about your experiences on the ship rather than a difficulty with your onboard credits. I'll forward your concerns to the CruisesOnly Customer Relations department, or if you'd rather contact them directly, you can do so here: http://www.cruisesonly.com/cs/default.asp

Your response leaves me with little doubt that your organization does not stand behind what it tells its customers.  My point being that even after all is said and done you offer nothing in consideration of the mess that exists between Cruises Only and Princess Cruise Lines.  Perhaps I should contact Princess Cruise Lines and see if they want to re-examine their relationship with Cruises Only.

Thank you for your review.  I wished it had more to do with the cruise itself.  I am sure the business end of onboard credits had you quite frustrated though.

I have heard of problems like this before.  It is always good to check to be sure these credits appear and in fact, I always bring a  printout of credits promised in case of just such a dispute.  Glad to hear it was all worked out.  I am sure that Princess didn't deliberately lose your credit though.  They want satisfied passengers and don't want to ruin your cruise..

Cruises Only and Princes Cruise Lines should align their systems so that SeaPass credits/onboard show up in Princess Cruises Lines records on a timely basis.
