It’s definitely not like the other ships. It’s long and skinny. Honestly, it’s a really bad design or our least favorite ship we’ve ever been on ….that being said you’re on a ship on the sea. It’s a great day.

Average age on the ship was about 45. There were lots of parties for younger age groups. If you are in the 70s age group, like dressing up and dancing then this is not the ship for you. We prefer the older Princess ships but this is personal preference.

Try to become familiar with the ship layout when you first arrive. Enjoy as much as you can about the ship. It's beautiful. There are plenty of places on the ship to enjoy. So many different venues for entertainment, eating, activities, and places to simply relax and look out at the ocean.

While the Quantum is family-friendly because of its size and activities, the entertainment was not always appropriate, even for adults.

So much to do and see on this ship and itinerary. Planning ahead, doing research on possible activities and matching up meal things vs excursion/port timings ahead made it possible for us to make the most out of this 1 wk of our lives!

Dress in layers and comfortable. Most of the people dress very relaxed even on formal night, unless you want to take nice pictures. Plan shore excursions with time because they get sold out. Get early to shows and games because it fills up quickly.
