Beautiful, relaxing cruise marred only by terrible Internet. The ship is older but in good condition and manned by an outstanding staff. Lots of fun excursions and shopping in ports.

The ports were excellent, the Ship and overall onboard experience was terrible.

I love the shows but there were basically only 4 shows, the magician had 4 shows. The crew were the best. Loved the Bistro for dinner on Valentine’s Day. But had I not brought decorations for my door and candy for the crew, you would not have known it’s Valentine’s Day Tips went up to $20 a day pp Was not made aware and the mandala spa increased their prices. Basic 50 min massage was $199 plus 20 % gratuity All in all. We met nice people.

We were with a group of 10. We all had a lot of fun together. Sumedh went above and beyond to help arranging what we would do each day. We cannot say enough about how great he was! The entire crew were always friendly and tried their best, we just felt like they might be overworked due to current lack of help. On the other hand, the ship nichols and dimes you to death. A lot of restrictions on the “free packages “. Also internet is extremely hard to access. If you are expecting Vegas style entertainment, don’t take this cruise. It was fun, but not our best NCL experience

The ship was ok at best but Alaska was something to see.

Pretty good cruise over all and planning to take another Alaska cruise soon!

Customer service is almost non-existent on Norwegian Sun. We had an issue with water flooding our stateroom. We went to the customer service desk five times before actually getting to speak to someone that was helpful. We spent an extra day in Cartagena because the ship lost power. There was no air. That was the day our room flooded. Because of the extra day in Cartagena, they canceled our stop in Costa Rica, instead sending us to Colon, Panama. They kept El Savador on the itinerary, which was a terrible port, dirty and scary. We didn’t understand why they would choose this less-desirable port over Costa Rica.

This is our over 50 cruises and our 10th with Norwegian.The atmosphere on the sun was one of our most disappointing. Not much going on we spent most of our time in the champagne bar meeting people.Still had a good time

This was my favorite cruise ever!!! The food was great , entertainment was good but the itinerary was the best ever!!! I,d do this itinerary over and over again

Alaska is beautiful and unlike any other place. We had a great time with an excursion in every port. Every tour guide we had on our excursions were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The Free-Style Daily is a wonderful tool to see what's going on the next day with pertinent info for docking and all-aboard times. The app is the BEST for having it all at your fingertips. There is always something happening on the ship regardless if you are in port or at sea.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Rated Icy Strait Point (Hoonah) so low, because place is so small there is hardly anything to do there, but walk to Hoonah and back. Be prepared for rain and cold, especially in Sept or October.

Room service was the best I've seen! The man who cleaned our room was of great character and did a fantastic Job! loved him!

Been on many cruises and this was the most disappointing. Only redeeming factor was the ports. Decreased service. It is like we were bothering them. No communication. Left outside ship for over an hour - no communication as to why and no apology. It is like they don't care - we got your money so no reason to ensure you stay.

Decided to book an Alaska cruise after the cruise I'd been wanting to do could no longer be booked for a solo cruiser without having to do some pretty dumb things to get it booked. I'm thrilled to say that I've now been to the largest and northernmost state, and I met so many nice people, several of whom were fellow solo cruisers!

We were lucky to have sun every day of our trip. I prefer a full day at ports rather than half day.

We couldn't have asked for a better cruise. It was nice having longer times in ports! The weather was unbelievable for the time of year we visited. The crew were all attentive and pleasant. The cabin was great. The food was presented well and plentiful. Our cabin was cold for most of the trip as there was a problem with the heating/ air conditioning system. They eventually got it fixed. Love the smaller ships. Found the entertainment to be less than on past NCL cruises we've taken. Embarkation and disembarkation were flawless. All in all, loved our cruise. We are already looking forward to another cruise with NCL. Possibly the same cruise next year with a back to back to the Panama Canal.

This was a bucket list cruise for us. We enjoyed the trip but definitely not the best cruise experience. For some reason the main buffet layout was a hindrance. Food was not great. Except in specialty restaurants. The main dining rooms were very slow and oftentimes the food was cold.

A wonderful holiday cruise! The ship & itinerary was perfect for us. The entire cruising experience was flawless, enjoyable, and memorable.

Worst cruise. Will never cruise with Norwegian again, will not use BJ again, will not leave from Baltimore again. Don’t do Bermuda after August.

Of all the cruises that we have done, this was by far the absolute worst experience we have ever had. Our friends booked with us, and they had never cruised before. They were very disappointed in their first cruising experience. I am so embarrassed and ashamed for Norwegian Cruise Lines!!!
