Review summary

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Rated Icy Strait Point (Hoonah) so low, because place is so small there is hardly anything to do there, but walk to Hoonah and back. Be prepared for rain and cold, especially in Sept or October.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Fastest and easiest of any of our four cruises.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Always something to eat. Would not say it was any better or worse than any other cruise. But if you want chocolate chip cookies it is only served from 3-5 -- not at very meal, like Carnival. Burgers are good, but Guys burgers on Carnival are better.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Smaller ship than most, but we were happy with what was there.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Overall, best entertainment (stage shows and musicians at other venues) of any of our four cruises.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Absolutely EXCELLENT service. Not a single complaint.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Great conditioin.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Was what we expected. Small, but knew it would be.

Ship tip

Enjoy the entertainment. It is good. See the Stage shows. Listen to pianist/singer Tony.
