A wonderful holiday cruise! The ship & itinerary was perfect for us. The entire cruising experience was flawless, enjoyable, and memorable.

Embarkation

Baltimore embarkation is consistently smooth and easy. NCL provided bus transport from their parking lot to the terminal. The port employees are very friendly and helpful. Baltimore is a great embarkation port for the medium sized ships.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We enjoyed all the dining venues: MDR, Cagney's, LeBistro, & the Buffets. The thin crust Pizza @ Moderno was especially delicious. Great food choices on the Christmas & New Year's menu. Food was awesome for all meals in every dining venue.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the pool & hot tubs. Fitness Center was clean & well maintained along with modern equipment.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great music & entertainment by all, especially the Christmas & New Year's festivities making for a memorable holiday experience. The 2 Comedians were great: Harry O./The Irish Guy & Linda Belt.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service was exceptional! Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, helpful, & accommodating. They were very focused & diligent.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was clean & well maintained. Layout was passenger friendly and easy to maneuver.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We specifically chose this slightly obstructed view cabin due to it's location on the Promenade deck. So nice & convenient to access this deck by the exit door a few feet from our cabin. No need for a balcony stateroom since we had an entire outdoor deck. Our cabin was roomy, quiet, & comfortable with lots of storage. Our Cabin Steward (Asep) was superb. He kept our cabin clean & well maintained.

Ship tip

Spinnaker Lounge is a hidden gem. A relaxing venue with an awesome view. We also enjoyed the music & atmosphere at Windjammer.

Beautiful port stop on Christmas Day. Bus tour was a perfect option since many places were closed. Watching planes take off & land at Maho Beach was awesome.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

There was a big festival for the locals, so everything was closed. But it was a nice port stop & watch the celebrations, etc.

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

We really liked this port. No tour, we walked to their vibrant town & really enjoyed our day. We would like to return for an extended visit to this beautiful & friendly island!

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Another beautiful island. No tour, we walked to town from the port & enjoyed that bustling area. We took the sky ride to the mountain top for the gorgeous view and a Bushwacker.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

A short, but special stop on Christmas Eve. The port area was lively & festive with the locals celebrating the holidays. The Fireworks throughout the city were the icing on the cake adding to the Happy & Merry atmosphere!

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

And once again, another beautiful island. A short stop, so we just explored the port area. Definitely an island we'd like to return to see more. So pretty!

Great City & embarkation port.

Disembarkation

We did self assist, so it was easy & fast. Face recognition @ immigration made for a swift exit from the terminal. NCL bus was waiting outside with a quick ride to their parking lot.
