Stood in terminal for 3 hours waiting to board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was OK not enough variety. Breakfast was the same all 11 days.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Could have had more to do during the day.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Enjoyed the entertainment

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Waiters and room stewards were good, bartenders were the worst I have ever encountered. They are surely costing Norwegian customers.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship was fine a little old.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Room was clean and maintained by steward.

Ship tip

Not a typical cruise.

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

1 out of 5
We didn't go to the glacier. This is why I wanted to go on this cruise.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

1 out of 5
Paid $350 to go on a wildlife adventure and bear hunt only saw a deer and no bear our anything else. Rode around for 4 hours in a old van on dirt roads. Scam!!!

KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA

3 out of 5
There is a difference between rustic and run down and town is run down.

Sorry to say, but wildlife do not perform or show up just because you paid for an excursion to "hunt" them. All of the excursions have a disclaimer stating they may not see wild life. Might want to reread the disclaimer

My first cruise ever was in 2015 from Seward to Vancouver. We were aboard the Norwegian Sun. A different experience then what you had. Ketchikan was quaint 8 years ago. Sorry for your disappointment.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. I think it’s a little early in the season to get close to the glaciers. Sorry you were unable to do so.
