Review summary

Worst cruise. Will never cruise with Norwegian again, will not use BJ again, will not leave from Baltimore again. Don’t do Bermuda after August.

We were told we could board and then the machine went down.

Buffet was too crowded. Food was tasteless. Drinks were watered down and staff was rude.

What activities? Most were canceled and those that did happen were packed but boring. We resorted to playing cards we were so board.

We were literally told the staff could not been seen talking with customers. When the rooms were cleaned —staff used a pissy mop!

Do a little homework before you cruise again. The Sun is a good ship, older and smaller then most of the other cruise ships. Because of the age, the amenities are not as plentiful ason the ships. Most ports sailing out of the US are charging sales tax on at least alcoholic drinks and this goes to the state. Consider yourself fortunate you did not sail out of Galveston, on Carnival, the drink package starts on day 2 and the type of alcohol is limited since they need to use alcohol provided by state licensed distributors. Also TABC charges a tax on any alcohol and tobacco brought into the state, so not truly duty free.
