Review summary

Of all the cruises that we have done, this was by far the absolute worst experience we have ever had. Our friends booked with us, and they had never cruised before. They were very disappointed in their first cruising experience. I am so embarrassed and ashamed for Norwegian Cruise Lines!!!

Our room was terrible! We paid for oceanview, but our view was a walkway where other passengers can look into our room.

DO NOT BOOK WITH NORWEGIAN! We will never make this mistake again!

We were not let off the ship to visit the private island due to "choppy waters"...I think it was just an excuse.

Get a life, it can’t all have been bad. I have sailed on BCL numerous times and have loved every cruise. Yes sometimes things aren’t perfect but you have to make the best of every situation.

I agree. Out of all the NCL cruises we’ve been on, the Sun was the worst. We traveled on it last year and had plumbing and electrical issues. Super hot and smelly.

I cruised on this ship in September, and while some things certainly could have been better, I had a wonderful time overall. My apologies that there wasn't much for you to enjoy, and I hope your next cruise is amazing!

A short cruise on an older ship during Spring Break season is never a good idea. Try a 7 day or longer cruise on a newer ship while schools are in session for a better experience.
