Delayed about 3 hours in very crowded waiting area; we were told a US Coast Guard Inspection was the cause.

Food was very good but pretty basic fare; we did not eat in any of the specialty restaurants.

Massage area to get my teeth whitened; Some of the singers were pretty good!

Our steward was very friendly and kept the cabin clean and tidy but nothing extra; basic service only; no towel animals provided any night.

The ship’s layout and design were pretty standard. Common areas were clean and well-maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was larger than we encountered on previous cruises; could have slept 3 easily and would not have been crowded.
Ship tip
Apply for passports at least 120 days in advance. I was able to board the cruise with my certified birth certificate but I could not partake in several Canadian shore excursions out of Alaska ports of call.
Headed-in but turned around just a little ways in; Captain did not want to risk collision with large chucks of ice in water. (6th day of our 11 night cruise)
