Show up late for embarkation and be the last off the boat. They need a better system for embarkation and disembarkation. Both were tme consuming, disorganized, and annoying. The worst part of the cruise!

Do not rely on theNCL app. It is not very useful. Many cliches. Make early reservations to shows and meals.

If you are a card or board game player, make sure you find the best places to play and get dibs on any board games you might need from visit cruise staff. Visit the library on the first day to get any book you want to read. Explore lounges to find your favorite spot throughout the cruise.

Be warned that the Atrium is always loud. Even the piano player was too loud.

Make your reservations for specialty restaurants and shows online before you get on the ship, especially if there are only 2 of you, spots fill up pretty quickly..

Be aware that you need to book your dining, the SHOWS, and activities when you first come on. Have never had to book shows and activities and it was stressful the first 2 days to figure it all out.

Get to the cruise terminal early, we got there 30 minutes before the first group started loading and there was already a line. Bring extra money for any activities you want to do while on the ship.
