Review summary

Most of the journey was great except for the noise level in the room.

Embarkation

LA port wasnt very organized. Hard to figure out where to go.

Food choices were exceptional.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Didnt participate in much. Upper decks were too cold during on the water days and ship was rocking too much.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Room was cleaned twice a day like clockwork. They did a good job mostly but did see that the tables were not wiped down properly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was clean and big

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
room was nice and roomy and fit 3 adults well but the room was right above the Cavern Club and between 8 and 11 pm every night we had to hear everything that went on in the club and the drum were really bad. it was shaking the room.

Ship tip

Dont stay on 9th floor.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
All the ports were great experience. Took city tours in all 3 ports but in Cabo, you have to take a tender to the shore and those tend to be busy, so please plan. Dress for warm weather even in winter. All the city tours had some walking to do.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
Loved Cabo. Took a non-ncl tour but it wasnt difficult to find. nice tour bus and also glass bottom tour.

Mazatlan, Mexico

5 out of 5
Loved Cabo. Took a non-ncl tour but it wasnt difficult to find. nice tour bus but the tour guide had us walking a lot and not a lot of places were open on Christmas day.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
tool an NCL tour. Had some walking to do. The place they stopped for lunch didnt have too much vegetarian choices.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
LA port took too long to clear the ship and the self assist line and distance to walk was a lot.

It’s always important to check the deck plans and choose a cabin that is above, below and between other cabins to reduce the chance of noise issues.
