Check your itinerary for the day the night before (one will be placed in your stateroom) or you will miss so many activities. Mark your choices so that you don't end up leaving your day to chance and missing things that you would really want to see or do.

Was easy to get around on. Boarding and get off were easy. Food and shows were good. Book shows ahead. And if don't mind do inside room, their bigger and cheaper.

Just be prepared for super expensive excursions and be ready to pay or not pay for the extra. We booked one excursion through Norwegian that was fun. We booked one expensive one outside of Norwegian ahead of time that was from a big cruise company And this was exceptional and worth the $800 for four of us. In other stops, we took taxis or walked on our own without problems.

If you are traveling alone, as I was, this is not the cruise for you. the ship was dirty, sticky and very loud from all the kids. they offered a very short window to meet other single travelers but my excursions got me back to the ship too late to meet anyone.

It's a huge ship with 4100 guests but they make it work. If you have a sea day the pool area is very crowded. Get there early to get a deck chair.

Book everything you want to do before you board, the ship is huge with many people who want to do the same thing as you!

If you don't like to walk, book a mid-ship cabin - this is a BIG ship and if you are Forward or Aft, you can have a lot of walking.

Expect to have to pay to dine in different restaurants. Don't expect to see a lot of shows since the times are not conducive to most people.

This was my first cruise on such a large vessel. I was pleasantly surprised that the number of passengers didn't impact my enjoyment of the cruise. (except for the day at sea when every passenger was visible at one time either in the atrium or the restaurant) The availability of table in the buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner was an issue.

Please note, there are kids - lots and lots of kids :( and they aren't very clear on how to get you to and from places without you spending a ton of money on shore excursions, which we did not do and ended up having an amazing time each day because we went off and did our own thing.

Just enjoy it! This is a beautiful modern ship with friendly, helpful staff, excellent food and drink and excellent entertainment. If you go to ' the great outdoors' buffet you will see two glass lifts, one is for Haven guests only but the other is for everyone, take it up to deck 18 and there is a lovely quiet sun deck up there with comfy loungers, nice and peaceful if you want away from the hassle and bustle of the main pool deck.

Try to make as many reservations for shows and dining in advance as the shows and specialty dining reservations are mostly sold out by the time you get on board.

Tip: Beverage package is a Plus. Expect wait time at elevators because of large capacity...I think msybe 4,000 guests. Also, buffett is crowded and noisy during peak times.
