We wish the ship would have allowed us to buy pictures at a later date online. They are very expensive and most of the time at the end of the ship you have spent all your money. We know we would have bought online at a later time if we had the opportunity to do so.
Get a room near the front, the forward elevator goes right into the buffet, and don't miss the free liquor tasting each night at 8, they give out increasingly better scotch in the liquor shop each night.
Explore the many venues for sunbathing to find your favourites, then go there early to get it. Book your shows before you sail, and use the box office to get into shows that you cannot book on-line. As soon as the shows in the comedy club has started you can sneak in and see it even if it's sold out
the ship itinery was excellent . it would show who and what going on.
my suggestion for first timers is to bring your luggage aboard with them so they can change and be comfortable and not wait till 6pm for the luggage to arrive by staff, theyre to many passenger to expect luggage to be in room.
If you are getting a balcony ensure it is deck 10 or higher! If you can, find out before you book if the cabin bed is toward the outside wall or next to the toilet alcove. The outside works much better.
Check out the adult only cushioned lawn chairs at the front of the ship. Also less windy there. Make your theater reservations at home early. Although you can make reservations in your cabin on the TV, we saw long lines at the theater box office for the first 3-4 days.
When in port, get to breakfast buffet early (6-6:30am) or order room service (continental breakfast only) the night before to avoid the mob scene! Heard a lot of people complaining about what was included with the adult beverage package so be sure to check before you buy.
This is a huge ship with only 2 areas with elevators. Plan your travel around the ship well to minimize waiting for elevators. They are almost impossible on port days when getting off the ship and at dinner time.
Find your way to the 18th deck at the bow of the ship. elevator to 17 and walk up one flight. Keep moving to the bow. This is a quiet zone and has very comfy lounges and an amazing view.
If you eat at the Garden don't stop at the first 2 lines they are always, longer. Proceed to the back, people often don't consider the outdoor bar! There's never a line.
Always tell your partner server you plan to sit otherwise you may/will get split up and its frustrating when you're hungry.
