Review summary
We just returned from a cruise on the Epic and would have to say after about 25 cruises we would list this ship in the top 5.
I was amazed at the negative comments we read and heard on the ship and could not understand why passengers stayed focused on where the shower, toilet and sink were located in the cabin. We actually found this arrangement to facilitate better flow getting out of cabin each day.
Here is what our party focused on: Best entertainment I have ever seen on a cruise. Don’t miss Blue Man and Cirque Dreams. Food in the garden café was good. Lobster tails was unlimited on the Monday night or Captains dinner. We loved the fact that 45 day before you sailed you could book all entertainment and dinners. We did do Cagney and Moderno and later wondered why as food elsewhere on ship was very good! We would not ever do the Brazilian steak house. Not worse the $20.
Ports on this cruise were fair. However, in Cozumel we took taxis for $15 and golfed at the country club. Nice day! We did not like Jamacia and Costa Maya was fair.
Overall, cruise was excellent. Yes, you can find things to complain about as no line is perfect and without flaws. Focus on being with family and friends and you will have a wonderful time.

FYI.. Banana splits and hot fudge sundaes were excellent on the O’Sheennan café!
