Review summary

The ship was easy to get around on and the food , shows were very good.

But the rooms were so narrow only one person could walk around at a time. Hated the set up of the rooms and lighting was terrible. Beds so short feet hung off them and 'm not that tall. Had what the called a balcony room . It did have a deck with two chairs but small cut out to see out of. Could only see the sea if standing up.  what a Joke.. Will not sail on this cruise line again.

Hated it! To narrow , bad lighting. Bathroom was set up badly. Decks a joke. Beds to short.

Ship tip

Was easy to get around on. Boarding and get off were easy. Food and shows were good. Book shows ahead. And if don't mind do inside room, their bigger and cheaper.

For a better cruise experience do your research first. You cannot blame the ship or cruise line for the layout of the balcony.

The Epic has several different types of balcony rooms. Did you not research that before booking? Before I booked on the Epic, I looked at the layout of each type of room, and read the description before choosing a room.

Don't judge NCL by one ship. That ship is unique in the fleet. No others use that design.
