Go to the Market Grill for a Reuben. Best sandwich on board. Go to Ocean Blue for a fancy night out with your spouse. Enjoy Cirque Dreams with your family.

Be sure to join the Haven Club for an additional $80 per person if you are not traveling with children. If you decide not to join, you will be subject to a very busy pool area with a water park and loud music. Also, the area is very, very crowded.

Book a starboard side balcony as it will allow you to enjoy an ocean view while in port instead of staring at the cruise docks into the sun. Winds on return can be high as it is a one day return versus a meandering two day out - which can close the upper deck and be to windy in the bow area.

It seems that I was always waiting behind a number of cruise staff at the buffet and in trying to find a seat. I think the staff should not eat with paying passengers. NCL disagrees with me obviously as this has been a constant on every NCL Cruise. Do the early walkoff in NYC. 730am.

We went to the free dining for the evening meals. I was suprised to see there was a charge for some dining rooms! They were upscale and delicious! The cafe on the top deck was great for a faster breakfast and lunch. They served everything!

Have patience. If there's something in the Atrium you're going to see go about an hour and a half early to try to get a seat.

I would suggest avoiding travel on this ship for all of the reasons stated in the last section of this evaluation. We have not been on other NCL ships, and while this may be their newest, we certainly hope that it is not their best.

Book a spa balcony room if you are not traveking with children since you can't get a chair by the pool all day. Most of the chairs by the pool had towels, shoes or children's toys on them and were never used all day! No one from the staff monitored this. It was not clear where a cigar smoker could smoke. It turns out it is ONLY in the cigar lounge - the Humidor. We were SHOCKED to learn that passengers were not allowed to smoke cigars on their balconies or in any outside bars or outside lounges!

THE SHIP NEED TO CHANGE THE CREW AND REPLACE THEM WITH MORE PROFESSIONAL STAFF MEMBERS AND A MORE DIVERSE MIXED OF PEOPLE . TOO MANY OF ONE SET OF PEOPLE .
