Review summary
There were a few annoying things about the Norwegian Breakaway ship. We found it very crowded in certain areas such as the buffet. The buffet is designed with straight counters. It was very hard to navigate around and it always seemed crowded. We find separate stations to always work better. It also was very hard to get a cup of coffee when we wanted one because the coffee machines were empty a good part of the time. The music around the main pool and kiddy pool was very loud. There wasn't a quiet place and pool to go to unless you paid extra to join the "Haven Club". We were never told about the Haven Club. If we were, we would have gladly joined. When we tried to become members while on the cruise, the wasn't any more room for us. Unfortunately, the boat doesn't have a decent size pool that is away from the crowd and very loud music. My wife and I are not old people and love to listen to music......just not that loud!!!! Dinners were sometimes served cold as was the coffee. It was surprisingly easy to get a table without a long wait but it sometimes took very long to receive your dinner once you were seated. In our opinion, Royal Caribbean has a much better way of running their ship.Ship experiences

Ship tip
Be sure to join the Haven Club for an additional $80 per person if you are not traveling with children. If you decide not to join, you will be subject to a very busy pool area with a water park and loud music. Also, the area is very, very crowded.
